Lisbon Five Stars Apartments São Julião 72

The apartment was truly in the most perfect location - easy for taxis and Ubers or lifts to the airport but supremely walkable and just a couple of blocks from the main bus station in Commercial square. There was everything that we needed for our stay with two young children.

Just know that it is a small elevator so if your apartment is in the fifth floor like ours was, and you’re a big group, it takes a few elevator trips to get your bags up. Also, there are several lock boxes outside the building and outside the apartment as well as two different pin pals so it took some time to get that sorted out. I liked that it was a secure building but people left the front door open a lot.

Great location, directions for checking in and out were very clear and easy to execute. Having an elevator is great, even if it's quite small. It holds 3 people max without luggage, but very useful to take up/down the luggage.

Beds were less comfortable than other properties we have stayed, but that is a personal preference. living room furniture not super comfortable either but certainly adequate. Upstairs shower door seal leaks some so towel needed to mop that up, but that is minor and easy fix.

Very good location and very helpful staff; comfortable facilities for 6 persons (3 couples); the elevator worked well for the times we didn’t feel like climbing the stairs up to the fifth floor.

The hall bathroom has a strong musty odor (assume it relates to the building’s plumbing issues as the bathroom itself was clean); the other two ‘en suite’ bathrooms were fine. Air conditioners are provided in each room. At least a couple of them would benefit from maintenance and/or possibly replacement.

Great location , spacious flat

The meeting point was far away from the actual flat which was a nightmare considering I was travelling with lots of luggage and by car. This meant having to park in two different underground car parks which took too much time and hassle. The flat is not well equipped considering it potentially caters for 6 people, kitchen wise. The tv did not work, there were two lamps without lightbulbs, and the air con was missing remote controls in some rooms. The lift to the flat is tiny which if you travel with lots of luggage means two trips up and the front door of the building is hard to open and gets stuck. For a lovely flat that it is, the windows are small and few and you miss the beautiful light of Lisbon as well as a view. I would not stay here again since I don’t think it’s value for money unless you stay in this flat with friends with a group.
