The Tarna Resort, Koh Tao

Its a very nice resort to stay, the deluxe villa is very beautiful but having a black exterior it gets very warm and when you come back to the room its like staying in a sauna, it takes at leat half an hour to cool it down with the AC. Otherwise its a premium resort, the staff is very friendly, the breakfast is great, the amenities are very good, if you rent a scooter you can get to the beaches in muntes. Would recommend!

I rarely leave reviews, but this experience was disappointing. I stayed here for 2 nights in a Grand Pool Access room. The reception staff, restaurant staff, housekeeping team, and even the hotel cats were lovely. Everyone was friendly and welcoming. The room itself was quite dark due to the limited lighting. Although the bathroom had a glass partition for the shower area, there was no door separating the bathroom from the bedroom. As a result, an unpleasant smell from the drain would often spread into the room, even when the bathroom was not being used. The breakfast was just average and the selection was quite limited. However, the biggest issue was on check-out day. I was told the hotel shuttle could take me to another hotel on the island. After checking out and loading all my luggage onto the golf cart, the driver eventually dropped me halfway at a dead-end road, unloaded my bags, and told me to find a motorbike to transport them myself. What upset me was not that the hotel couldn't take me all the way, but that I was told they could, only to be left with two suitcases and several bags in the middle of the road. A simple warning beforehand would have allowed me to arrange my own transportation. cool to have scuba school there. too bad the salt pool closes so early. the rooftop was sick. the room had a funny mildew/mold smell which was too bad because our room was very nice.

I thought it’s not gonna be far away from the beach But they do have a service to take you up and down, but they have only some certain timings for that However, you need to pay more if you want to request I don’t know it must be around 100bhat for one person The people are nice though the breakfast is decent As for the prize, I think it’s not worth it because I paid around ฿***for a night And I’ve changed different rooms. I stayed there for three days. I’ve stayed around May But I would not recommend this to anyone Good for the families, but not good for the divers as you probably need to rent a bike and go to your dive Centre every day
