La Casa Teresa Tourist Inn

La Casa Teresa has a convenient location right along the main road, with several shops nearby, making it easy to access basic necessities. One of the highlights of our stay was the staff. They were excellent, friendly, and accommodating throughout our visit. However, there were a few drawbacks. Although the property has an elevator, it was turned off during our stay, which was quite inconvenient. The Wi-Fi connection was also unstable, making it difficult to stay connected consistently. Overall, it was a decent stay, thanks to the convenient location and wonderful staff. However, the management could improve the experience by ensuring the elevator is operational and providing a more reliable internet connection.

So about 15 minutes after we arrived at the room,- I’ll call it the dungeon- there started to be loud, consistent noise of dishes, clattering right adjacent to the room. When I went to inquire with the staff, they informed me that the hotel kitchen next-door was- in fact- right next to our room. And that there is only wifi connected in the first floor common area. The room was otherwise nice. So the moved us to another room on the fourth floor.- we’re amazingly there was Wi-Fi connectivity noisier than the first with barking dogs crowing roosters most of the night. Maybe this is just par for staying in the Philippines. In the daytime, noises of renovation work on the floor above loud banging furniture moving. Pieces of metal dropping. Basically sleepless nights. A complementary breakfast.- they charge for eggs and they do they round out of eggs Day three and four we just went somewhere else for breakfast staff was helpful, but it’s almost like the hotel just been taken over by a new owner and they were trying to figure things out still. But.el Nido was amazing.

I booked a balcony room and it was actually a room with a giant window wall looking into a public viewing deck. There were only sheer curtains and any on the viewing deck could see straight into our room.

The hotel is quite affordable, and it is understandable that there are no complimentary toothbrushes or toothpaste. However, regarding the towels, although I believe they are clean, it is noticeable that they have been used for a very long time—possibly for years. I would suggest replacing the towels at least once or twice a year, as they have already become very thin. As for the food, I do not find it to be at the standard level expected for a complimentary breakfast. I have even noticed some guests choosing to go outside to eat and pay for a more decent breakfast. For the wifi, its not that very reliable. I hope they will improve this areas so the guests will come back and also recommend the stay with others.
