    The staff at the reception desk were friendly. There are two hotels in Amsterdam with similar names and we accidentally looked up the nicer hotel, oops. We booked two nights and lasted 8 hours. Woke up covered in bed bug bites AND found two of the bed bugs. There are no elevators, this was not obvious to us in the listing. Very narrow steep stairs. First room we got had broken furniture and part of a wall clearly had water damage and white mold so we were moved to another room. Over-all shabby and worn out look to both rooms. No AC, broken fan. Broken light Basically we felt safer on the streets at 1 AM than staying here. Photos are of bed bug on wall, one are of bites on my husbands arm, moldy wall in first room and broken light in second room. Did appear they are doing some renovations.

    Location is okay but the hotel was very terrible. Stairs are very narrow , no fans and you have to go to whole other building for reception. Not recommended!
