The steps are rather steep. I would recommend packing light. No AC but a good breeze and windows open well. No screens on windows so if the windows are open, bugs and birds can fly in. It’s an excellent location and easy to find. Everything is very comfortable. The water gets hot fast. Nice restaurant for breakfast almost next door. About a 10 minute walk from Centraal.

Extremely friendly diverse reception and concierge. Great and clean but typically small space, though the balcony with chairs snd table was a major plus and able to smoke on it. Huge windows with pleasant local view. Very centrally located but didn’t feel inundated by tourists, great neighborhood of locals close by. Price seemed to be comparable or less than other hotels though probably out of budget for the young backpackers
