    The location is great; property is a little outdated and the food was average.

    We were assigned a room with two double beds. It was not luxurious whatsoever. There was no elevator to our room. We had to heave our suitcase up two sets of stairs. Our room was on the side of a busy street that leads to the ferry and fifth Avenue. We had hidden fees at the end where you had to pay an Eco tax at the resort in order to check out there was a $10 USD fee on all room service. There were no stairs in any of the pools to get in or out. No one would change your bigger pesos for smaller bills in the hotel. It’s a very small resort from what we are used to. There is no beach. It is basically nonexistent and the beach that they do have is basically beside the ferry terminal and it is very rocky. At the top edge of our resort across the street cartel members sit there and haggle you every time you walk up into the city asking you to buy everything under the sun. The drinks were good. The food was exceptional.. I have stayed at better hotels for a similar price outside of the city.

    This place has had issues going back to last January, with having no hot water. The first 4 days of our trip, no hot water. Did have hot water the last night. Not honest with guests checking in. One couple said they only had hot water 2 out of 12 days. Not acceptable until they get this fixed, and not just for a few days at a time. Food, staff, and location very good. Have stayed many times, but will not return
