    Stayed one night, rooms are small but bearable for 1-2 nights stay and if you have minimal luggage. Near subway, convenience stores, McD, restaurants and centrally located in Kyoto - the main attraction. There is a laundry room at 2nd floor, and nice place to sit for coffee/tea. Good value for money. Note: No parking and they charge Y100 for a cup for coffee. I simply grab some stuff off convenience store and relax at the ground floor lobby. Room is too small, typical of many hotels in Japan.

    Convenient for transport connectivity, near to convenient store and super market.

    Excellent location for solo travellers. However had encountered very slow or disconnected Wi-Fi at times. Also the TV is quite outdated (not smart TV) so there were no options to connect it to various streaming platforms or screen share via the phone.
