This was our favourite hotel in Japan - beautiful, clean room, fantastic location in Kyoto, amazing lounge with complimentary snacks and drinks, and for a fantastic price too. Staff were wonderful and welcoming at all times too.

Fabulous hotel - beautiful, very well-sized rooms (for Japan!). Great amenities - the lounge has snacks in it that you can help yourself to, including coffee and tea, and some drinks (beers, Coca-Cola etc.). The beds are very comfortable.
While it’s a small hotel, there is only 1 washer/drier - so not always possible to use.

Everything. Great hotel, great rooms, great location. Hotel personnel are very attentive and kind, the rooms are spacious, bed is comfortable, everything is very clean. Location is amazing with lots of restaurants, bars and coffees on a walking distance

We liked the location, the staff were friendly, the breakfast and evening drinks were good
The room had a smell that would not go away, was very worn for a few building, the bathroom was dirty even after cleaning, and we don’t think the things we like about the hotel constitute the high prices (value for money)
