We had a very pleasant short stay. Don’t be intimidated by the central city location, once you step inside, you’re completely immersed in a traditional ryokan atmosphere. The space is beautifully traditional yet thoughtfully equipped with modern essentials. The lady host was especially lovely and kind, making sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay. A calm and authentic experience at a very convinient location.

What an amazing Ryokan experience! If you’re looking for authentic, tasteful and elegant Ryokan with first class service then look no further. Walking distance or a short bus ride to all major attractions. Cannot recommend enough and will certainly be back if we visit Kyoto again. Thanks for a wonderful stay

The staff were so sweet and accommodating. The place is beautiful and the room felt very special for our stay in Kyoto. Great location, beautiful hotel and rooms, and staff were so great.
