Bed could have been lightly softer, but that's just my taste.

Location: perfectly situated (subway nearby, Nishiki Market 10min from the hotel) Room was well-furnished and nothing was lacking Staff was so nice and so helpful ! They really helped us with the Yamato transfer

The location was excellent. Easy walking to great destinations. Staff was heloful and kind. Breakfast was fabulous. Bath was deep and lovely.
The room - which I hear is large for Kyoto - was so small I could not even put out my yoga mat. When I asked if there was another place in the hotel to use, they said no. I used the hall, which was not ideal. Also, the room was a little claustrophobic since the window is frosted
