No towel hangers in the bathroom. No soap/shampoo support in the shower. A bit smelly in the bathroom, from the sewage probably.

Reasonable sleep and on our way.

Comfy bed, roomy bathroom,

Corridor outside room very dark TV not connected No WIFI password evident No staff to ask, staff located in another building, couldn’t get through on phone.

Almost excellent.

The room and facilities were exceptionally quiet. The furnishings were beautiful, the bed was very comfortable and all amenities were available. It was really a very beautiful room.

We struggled to find the location based upon the map from Booking.com. And I wasn’t able to access the online check in. It required a phone call and staff to meet us at the building. It looks as if they are still under construction and will be beautiful when completed; however, there were many details that were not completed. The outlet by the bed wasn’t fully attached to the wall, the toilet seat wasn’t secured, the open shower left quite a bit of water on the rest of the bathroom floor from overspray and some areas of Sheetrock/paint needed to be finished. Considering these unfinished items I thought I was slightly overpriced. But to end on a positive, it was so quiet and the bed was excellent, we had a very restful night.

The check process is still horrible, there is no staff in the hotel at any time , we had stayed before so we knew to go across the road and up the street to Germains to get our key ect . Staff in Germains are amazing.

Extremely overpriced perpetually 'unfinished' property on loud main street. No class or hospitality.

Overall I cannot give a high rating for such an expensive room that did not live up to expectations.

We needed to be provided with a manual key from across the road - the 'emailed code' didn't work. Despite the late hour of our booking, there was no sense of hospitality or discount available despite the place being empty. It's very much a 'fend for yourself' approach. The unfinished nature of the bathroom was disappointing. There was no soap in the bathroom, again pretty basic housekeeping, there were not enough towels and nowhere to hang the towels and robes. What was quite frankly disgusting was that the white wine which seemed to form part of the package (being present in the room), was not in a fit state to be left in the room. It was dirty around the neck of the bottle and looked as though it had been opened and refilled with dirty water. Assuming this is included in the price - due to the absence of any information, this was not good enough for the premium price point of the room. There was a distinct lack of information available as regards parking, the items provided in the mini bar and check-out time. There was further uncertainty about the inclusion of breakfast and the standard of breakfast eventually provided was quite poor. The food did not even match the menu description. Prepare for early waking as the windows are not sound proof and overlook a very busy main street. Expect people chatting outside your window all night and constant noise from foot and vehicle traffic perfectly audible from your room. We had been told the property 'isn't ready yet' but reading other reviews, it seems to be in a perpetual state of being 'unfinished' for a while now.

Lovely room & bathroom,comfy bed ,quality linen,very clean,complementary bar ,snacks ,lovely fittings & luxurious touches. Staff in Germaines bar lovely ,helpful & efficient. Our breakfast was wonderful,great choice, great quality food,served till 12 ,lovely dining room in Germaines.

Poorly signposted,very difficult to gain entry,by chance enquired in Germaines ,ground floor incomplete building site.”Garden view “building site,huge heap building rubble outside our window ,diggers,dumpers ,we bought room advertised as “Garden View “.showers cold ,lovely tv didn’t work . No information about breakfast, by chance enquired in Germaines and got lovely breakfast. Happened to meet 2 other couples trying to gain entry,directed them to Germaines, both commented,they couldn’t enter premises and without chance meeting us , were stranded.

The room was absolutely gorgeous,decor throughput was stunning.

Would be better if the place was actually staffed found check in complicated,but Ellen in Germaine's bar helped us and was extremely helpful and friendly. Bathroom lacked hooks on door and bedroom could have done with a bigger dressing table and another chair .

Far from ready

Lovely decor, minibar, great bathroom, cleaning leady was really nice and tried to help.

Online check-in doesn't work. It took us 2 hours to get someone on the phone, because there is no staff present at the site. It is managed from a distance. This was really annoying and frustrating. Keycard pick-up at a restaurant across from the street. The wifi doesn't work in the room. The room was not finished yet, as for the rest of the building. The bathroom is very luxurous, but gets very wet cause everything drips. No hooks to hang your towels or robe. The hotel is next to a busy street, lots of traffic day and night. It got very windy and the bathroomdoor kept opening en clsoing because of the draft. Not worth the money. A weekend that had to be romantic and lovey was quite dissapointing.

Smoke and mirrors...

Very clean room (apart from the stinky coffee machine...), The "wow" effect when you first enter it, big and comfortable bed. Door handles and hinges don't squeak. Wall sockets next to the bed. Mini fridge.

Ha... Many things, unfortunately... You can see that the owners are trying really hard to give you that WOW! effect. But also that they are trying to run before they know how to walk. Yes the decoration is fancy, yes the bed is superior and comfortable, yes there's a giant TV in the room, yes there's a Nespresso machine, yes the room is clean (as it should) and yes there's even a chandelier. But quickly you realise it's only the surface, but the base is missing. Mandatory online self check-in didn't work. The web page couldn't find our booking number, and ended up crashing on a blank page. We tried with 2 different phones and 2 different browsers. I sent a message to Magmell on Booking, left without any reply. So we arrived without checking in online (because we couldn't), and all we found was a closed door without a bell or anything. Knocked, nothing happened. Fortunately there was a phone number on Booking, I called, and a lady arrived with two magnetic keys, then left. After that, we found ourselves with no wifi password. I called 4 times the same number, no reply. Why isn't the wifi password displayed in the room? The bathroom is super-mega-chic and all, but there's no glass panel around the shower, so obviously when you shower there's water everywhere… No hook for the clothes, no towel holder, not even a toilet paper holder either. Apparently because the decoration isn't finished (?) From what we've been told. The room's temperature controls are on a super fancy bright screen that illuminates the room like a lighthouse at night. I had to move a seat underneath the controls, and stack a pillow over it, so as to cover the lighthouse and block its light. But the worse of all : the Nespresso coffee machine's tank was filled with rotten and stinky water. I changed it and cleaned the tank, but then I rinsed the machine.

Lovely quiet place to stay

Spacious room, very comfortable bed, huge tv, Katie who checked us in was very friendly and helpful.

Nothing really, all good. I think when the bar, restaurant and cinema are up and running the place will be a gem and a great asset to the village. It is only newly up and running. We will return again for sure

Location was perfect for what we wanted, room was big, could have housed a bigger bed, will be beautiful when it is finished

The place was still a building site, overpriced for the room as the room was not finished, no toilet seat, no bin, no dressing table, hairdryer or kettle,no door handles on the bathroom boor, no toilet roll holder, no towel rail. It was keyless entry, no one met us or told us what room, we had to figure it out for ourselves. we seen no staff whatsoever.Breakfast was not included which again made the room very expensive, certainly not value for money

Nice bed and shower.

It was not ready for letting. The rooms were not finished. Door handles missing no bins hangers hooks tv and air con not set up. Difficult to find as you book in across the road in germains. Charged twice and no one available to refund. Staff at pub tried hard but had no authority to make changes. Will be great when finished. No cinema room, no sauna, builders dust everywhere.

I never stayed at the place and was charged for it. It was represented online as the city of Wicklow and it wasn't in Wicklow and I had no way to get there. It was falsely advertised.

It could have show the proper address on the website. It is the fault of Booking.Com not the property in my opinion, but both are at fault. I didn't stay at the facility and was charged. Once I noticed the error I immediately canceled and tried to contact booking.com and the hotel and neither would take my calls. So I emailed both and the hotel said it is up to Booking.com to handle and now booking.com has falsely charged me.

Wonderful place to stay! Great features and furnishings, our bathroom was to die for. Clean and tidy. The rest of the property will look amazing once it is finished. Ellen was extremely helpful in organising a late check in for us. Would highly recommend to others.

Все было шикарно, удобство было на высоте,чисто и уют на высоком уровне, номер очень богато выглядит, все было ,халаты,полотенца, ванные принадлежности.нам очень понравилось

Сложно было понять регистрацию, выдовала ошибку при приложении, но все таки местные жители оъяснили что есть бар и там нам дали ключи и проводили до номера и ещё не поняли как включать горячую воду она было в системе отопления.
