Sadly hotel is a bit jaded! There are artificial flowers that don’t seem to have been dusted for years. My advice - chuck them all - they only draw attention to lack of overall cleanliness which isn’t the case.

Perfect stay and really enjoyed it.

The location was good, along the river with a beautiful walkway and the breakfast was excellent, served fresh from the kitchen. Decor was a bit outdated but the room was cosy and clean. Beds were very comfortable. Staff and owners were very friendly and helpful. Lovely atmosphere in the bar. Would return to this hotel and would highly recommend it.

Had we known how loud it would be in the hotel above the bar/dining, we wouldn't have stayed there

The staff were very friendly and the location was good for walking around town.

It is above a bar and even though we were there on a Sunday, the live band played till 12:30 and it didn't get quiet till 1 am. We were exhausted. Also, the dining area the next day smelled of beer.

Everyone at the hotel was very friendly. The breakfast was wonderful, and the rooms were quiet. The room and bathroom itself were very clean.
