We really enjoyed this hotel and the craic at night!

The room was lovely and spacious with a balcony. Was warm with a very comfy bed. Staff were all lovely and friendly. Great music on the Friday night and we were all up dancing in the bar! We had a lovely 2 night stay and would definitely return.

The menu in the bar was very limited and could have offered a vegetarian pasta dish.

Not terrible

The dinner was absolutely divine, the bed was comfortable and the atmosphere was relaxed. Staff were absolutely fabulous

We had to change rooms. The first room, while the nicer of the two rooms, had hair on the towels and urine in the toilet. Not exactly a nice way to find your room. We were offered a change of room and given a courtesy breakfast. A change of rooms and discounted dinner would have been a better option in my opinion.

There was a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere in the hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful. We had a lovely spacious room to relax in with a fabulous view. We really enjoyed our stay.

There was nothing that we didn't like but if you wanted to be picky the bathroom was quite compact and might be uncomfortable for bigger people than us. The shower was in the bath which again could be difficult for anybody with mobility issues.

Really nice comfortable stay

Although not the most modern this is a gem of a hotel.Rooms have been updated and are comfortable and warm . Food looked delicious in the restaurant (we didn't eat as were attending wedding elsewhere). Staff are wonderful and so helpful. Would definitely come back to stay again for a weekend break.

Great place on the way between Dublin and Waterford. Very popular place on a Saturday night.

Great bar and restaurant for dinner and breakfast the next day. Room was very spacious and comfortable. Modern bathroom with large, thick bath towels and a hairdryer in the cupboard. Very helpful young lady on reception. We asked her if they possibly had a power adaptor, so that we could charge our phones etc. she even had one which was Australian to British when we thought we would need to piggy-back our Australian to European plug and their European plug into the wall.

The location was amazing. The staff in the restaurant and bar were absolutely fantastic. The rooms were large and nicely distributed.

We had booked two rooms. One room was for my elderly father, who suffers from arthritis in his knees. I didn't mention anything in the booking because we saw there was a lift. Our room was on the first floor, which we got a lift up to, but then we had to walk down some stairs to get to our rooms. That was a bit challenging for pops. So I'd advise you to mention this when bookings are being made. Rooms 107 and 108 are not easily accessible. Plus there was a lot of noise from the bar / apartment underneath us.

We had a most comfortable room this time (108). Everything was great. Breakfast very good & dining room staff very well trained. Perfect for an overnight after a long day of golf. Bar also very good & nice sitting areas outside if noise gets too much. Would thoroughly recommend this hotel..

Maybe charging extra for a one hour earlier check in. We ended up leaving our bags in the car but when ur playing golf it would have been easier 2 drop our cases off earlier & use the room one hour earlier 2 change our clithes.

The stairs which was awkward for some with walking issues. Shower in the bath was hard to get in and out of . Small things as hotel is old. Didn’t take anything from the stay.

Nice setting, and the food in the restaurant was lovely.

The room we were given did not match the pictures on booking.com. We changed room but second room was the same. The room was like a furnace, no air conditioning, and it was only possible to open the window half an inch, we tried to get some air into the room by opening the door to the room but no use. We opted to leave rather stay on in the sweltering heat. When we checked out, without staying overnight the receptionist didnt comment
