Absolutely amazing location and a great getaway. We arrived and easily found the keys in the key code container and arrived into the hut which was very clean. Stared to load the firewood into the hot tub to get it hot. This took approximately 3 and a half hours to go from about 14 degrees to 38 on the thermometer inside the hot tub.. But we didn't notice the fire had died down and was smouldering so topped it back up and was back up and running again. Overnight with the cover on, we lost about 10 degrees so only took another hour or so to get it back up to 38. Which I feel was an ideal temperature. The first night it ticked over to about 41/42 which was a little too hot for me personally. We relaxed that first night with a drink under the stars and it was soooo relaxing. The bed was extremely comfy but a little high, which I think is for the window to see the sunrise. Which we did wake up early for the day after and sat on the outdoor seating with a coffee at 5.30am only for the cloud to cover it. Booo. The second night we had some chocolate and strawberries around the wood burner which was brilliant. So peaceful and relaxing, then back into the hot tub. During the stay we could cook food with the microwave, air fryer and hob, or use the BBQ but there wasn't an oven. Overall a fantastic weekend away. Would we do it again? YES!!!!. The goats came to see us on the second day climbing on to the wall and jumping over grazing on the grass. There is also a seating area for 6 in-between the 2 huts with an area for a fire pit which would be fantastic if people from both huts wanted to spend time together of an evening. TV on the wall can swivel from the sofa to the bed, although I did bang my head on it a few times, but that's me being clumsy.
Flies, we arrived into the hut to around 20 flies, there was some fly spray which we didn't find out till later under the kitchen sink, but I did take a fly zapper with me as I had read about them previously. I really think the hut could do with some fitted mesh over the windows, like the door, as I presume they get in when the hut is being cleaned and windows are opened. And also provide a zapper too. Once we got rid of the initial flies we managed them with only 1 or 2 appearing now and again. There were also dead flies under the bed, which was highlighted even more when the mood lighting was on We know the fly issues isn't anything to do with the owner as they were all outside the door mesh trying to get in, that's part of nature. But as I've said, mesh on the windows and a fly zapper would be a great upgrade. The hut could do with a deep clean. It wasn't dirty as a whole but we noticed the lights for example were full of cobwebs, and also the shower cover over the hole was filthy underneath when it floated away due to the shower not draining quickly. And the sofa under the cushions needed a clean. The fan which is under the bed was heavily covered in dust. It was great at its job but was very dusty. The outdoor seating could do with the covers having somewhere to store them. When we got there 1 of the cushions was dripping wet, i lifted it up and water poured out of it, the other where only slightly damp some dried them out in the sun and they were fine. The BBQ was dirty, we didn't use it. Old burnt on food was over the grille plate. Would any of the dislikes put us off going again? NO!!! We will definitely be back at some point for another excellent relaxing weekend.

Amazing property. Quiet place and peaceful place, very clean and very good equipped. We enjoyed the amazing views, and very stylish hut. This is one of the places we would definitely consider to come back!
We liked everything!

The location was peaceful , only a short drive away from the town centre . The bed was comfortable.
When we arrived , there was at least 15/ 20 flies in the hut , fly spray was in the cupboard however none left . The sofa was dirty and had dog hairs on it . There was clumps of dust on the lats where the mattress is . The basin taps in the bathroom sounded like a horn everytime you turned them on making it really difficult to not wake my partner on the night when I had been to use the toilet and washing my hands . The barbecue was also dirty so we didn’t use it . We were unable to sit on the outside sofa as there was no weather protection over them making them soaking wet . There was a fault with the WiFi during our stay (this was out of the owners hands)
