It was lovely and cosy and situated in a beautiful spot. The log burner was nice to have on during the evenings, in the morning I was able to put the underfloor heating on which was a lovely touch. Cleone was there if we needed but also gave us plenty of privacy.
I couldn’t get the hot tub working on our second night but I’m not sure if the wood got damp as it did start raining

Lovely location & great views. Easy to find. Comfortable & cosy. Very helpful host. Hot tub was very enjoyable. Prosecco in the fridge was a nice touch.
Generally clean & welcoming.
King size bed needs the right size duvet. The one supplied only went to the top edge of the mattress.
Cleonie helpfully supplied an extra one.
Dish drainer for the kitchen worktop is a must.
Only 2 mugs not enough.

Absolutely loved the views and the area. It was very quiet and peaceful. The hot tub was a great extra and the amenities were similar to those most would have at home. We took our two spaniels and the hut had plenty of space for them both as well as two adults. We were provided with extra wood throughout our stay and was brought to us by Cleone. She was a great help when it came to showing us how to use the hot tub.
We loved our stay and would 100% come back again.

Badger had the most beautiful view of mountains, the whole location was quiet and so peaceful, it was the perfect rest & relaxation break that we needed! We were allowed to hand feed the goats who were so so sweet, and opening the doors of our hut to find the goats was lovely! It’s easy to get to other villages and towns for a little wander round, it’s in the perfect location! The hot tub was 10/10. We enjoyed how spacious the shepherds hut was & the facilities it came with were so handy, we had an air fryer which is always a perk!
