Carnmore Cottage

Wonderful place - so modern and high tech but ultimately a beautifully peaceful and calm home with the most fantastic view. The planting all around and surrounding woodland makes you feel a part of nature, with bees and birds happily busy in the wild flower meadows all around. Great walks straight outside the door. Yet only 10 minutes from the centre of Inverness, with its train station and airport and as a gateway to the Highlands. The house has everything you could need, and they will most likely even give you amazing fresh veg and fruit from the walled garden. Michael (Fridge) gave us a wonderful tour of the garden and was also so helpful with directions and even a lift to the airport. He totally made our stay and feels like a friend for life. The two bedrooms, each with their own bathrooms are at either end of the house and almost feel like private suites, so perfect for maybe 2 couples, or in our case, mother and son. The huge verandah covers most of the back of the house, so you can enjoy the outdoors whatever the weather, and watch the changing view over the Firth. Definitely a special and unique place.

Tutto. Una casa vacanze da sogno. Curata in ogni piccolo particolare. C’è più di quello che qualsiasi coppia, famiglia ma anche viaggiatori solitari possano desiderare. Tanta stima per il proprietario e la sua famiglia. Sarebbe bello poter tornare per restare qualche giorno in più… Chissà…
