There was nothing not to like.

Stunning, modern, well equipped, clean & picturesque Pousada with wonderful staff and a real island feel. The rooms have stunning views, with comfortable beds and sleeping listening to the waves at night was magical. The ammenties are great.. hair dryer, steamer, shampoo & conditioner in the shower and very comfortable spacious rooms. I really liked the keypad entry to the room too, to avoid a carrying a key. The breakfast is lovely, very tasty and having the option to have it on the beach, in the room or in the restaurant too is a beautiful touch. The owners went above & beyond to make my stay comfortable, from assisting with baggage, to booking boat tours & always on hand on WhatsApp to answer any questions. The location is a little remote but this is what I really loved about it, you really have that island feel. The restaurant in the hotel is great but there are so many options all within walking distance & some really great restaurants and bars very close by. There are many hiking trails, both short & long from the hotel & weather permitting, you can take a boat trip organized through the hotel. I would 100% recommend this, it was the highlight of my trip!

The location is unbeatable, it’s right on the water and next to a lovely trail that leads into the jungle area
