Overall a lovely place but the cost of accom & extras felt overpriced in the end.

Beautiful location, a very nice part of the island and very isolated. The room was nice enough. Rodrigo from the staff was an absolute star and a real highlight.

We had the best time at Bonito Paraiso! The location is outstanding, as it is close to Abraão (30 min walk or 5 min by boat) but still far enough away making it a great place for relaxation away from the crowds. The rooms had everything we needed, but we did not spend a lot of time there as the beach and the beach bar were our favorite places. Bonito Paraiso offers a great breakfast (fresh fruit, chia pudding, crepes, eggs in different variations, etc), as well as a variety of drinks and foods for lunch and dinner - all tasting fantastic. We never ate or drank something we didn’t like! The best part about the hotel is the staff, from the reception to the bar. Everyone was lovely and friendly. They gave us different tour recommendations, booked them for us (incl. direct pick up at the hotel) and gave their best to make our stay a lot of fun. Next to doing tours and relaxing at the beach, we could use the snorkeling equipment, SUPs and kayaks of the hotel. We were lucky enough to spot turtles next to different kind of fish. All in all: Bonito Paraiso is one of the best places we ever stayed at! We will miss our time there! :-)

The Beach was very clean. The breakfast and dinner was very delicious. At noon they offered Coffee and Cake. Free SUP, Snorkeling Masks, Kayaks and Games.

Fantastic relaxing place at Ilha Grande. Diving trip recommended

Location - on the beach. The beach can only be accessed by boat or walking a trail. Facilities - We changed our room from bungalow to familiy, since we were 4. The place offers SUPs and kayaks for free use Food - very good food and bar. Fantastic breakfast. The staff - super friendly and helpfull. The owners live on the site and are very welcoming and warm people.

The sea was dirty (oil stains and debries), maybe due to the rainy wetaher and the bay location.

The location was amazing, good place to disconnect and relax. The food was really good and the staff was also really nice!

The room was not comfortable at all. The pillows were hard and the sheets did not fit the mattress properly. The mattress could also have been better. We found mold at the shower walls. For the price we paid i expect better room conditions for proper rest!

Beachfront boho vibe with fabulous food

The location and listening to the waves at night - it’s super cute beach vibe - the staff are wonderful and you can just be barefoot all the time. The food is AMAZING

We went in off season (June) and there were building works going on which were very noisy - given the price we were paying they could have shut down for a few days

This was the most beautiful beach on the island, with perfect access to Abraao and everything you could want available to you. The staff (Isabelle and Marcell) were world class, polite and so helpful. We had the most wonderful food and drinks on the beach, and made use of the snorkels, paddle boards and canoes. They will help you book private excursions, make sure you get back to the resto from wherever you go and honestly took amazing care of us.

A small piece of paradise.

The location is magical. Is a very pretty beach eitn and amazing view and the facilities are good. We used sub boards, snorcle equipment and sand toys. The breakfast is delicious.

Without doubt, THE place to stay on Ilha Grande, don't look elsewhere!

We had the most wonderful stay at Bonito Paraiso, everything about it exceeded our expectations. We were made to feel completely at home from the moment we arrived until it was unfortunately time to leave. The location is stunning, located on a semi-private beach around the bay from Abraão, with a dedicated water taxi available for guest use. The house and rooms are beautifully finished, creating a high-end, yet relaxed vibe you'd expect from a luxury beachfront property. The food and drinks were delicious, amongst the best we experienced in Brazil, well worth staying in for the evening. The staff were all fantastic, making sure we always had a Caipirinha in hand and helping us get the kayaks and paddle boards into the sea! They are a real credit to the owners and just another reason why you should choose Bonito!

It took us a couple of trips to get used to the complimentary water taxi, in terms of location and timings, perhaps a Bonito logo on the side might help guests spot the boat in the dark!

Wonderful place, wonderful team (Tabata, Rafael, Julia and the others were great, very helpful and nice), Pablo is the nicest owner you will ever meet, and the food is fabulous. The whole place is very kids friendly as well.

Wonderful staff and great stay

The owner and staff of this hotel, besides being very kind and friendly, are absolutely exceptional at hospitality and very well-trained to make your stay as comfortable, easy, and pleasant as possible. I had some special needs regarding transport which they kindly arranged. The hotel is beautiful and comfortable and the location is relatively close to Vila Abraao which makes it one of the more convenient ones as well. Very highly recommend! Thank you again for a great stay!

Amazing stay at an amazing location

We had an amazing stay at Bonito Paraiso. The location is stunning at the beach. We stayed in both the jungle room and the beach room, both were nice. The staff is super friendly and is willing to help with any request you have. The breakfast is is very nice and the breakfast "ladies"are super helpfull is making all the nice stuff you would like. The restaurant is for sure super nice and worthwile to tatste almost everything from the menu, same for the cocktail bar. As cherry on the cake: the staff of the restaurant are gorgeous. Almost all the staff speaks English, which helps. For sure I would stay again at Bonito Paraiso.

Amazing!!! Lovely location, it is like paradise! The beach is almost private! Tasteful hotel! I would love to stay here again. We enjoyed our stay very much!

Lovely employees, everyone is super nice, helpful and friendly! Food is homemade and delicious, everything is clean and very comfortable. The rooms are rather small, but sufficient for a few nights. We had a very nice stay!

More storage for clothes/personal belongings in the room would have been great, and mosquito nets in the doors.

Pousada Bonito is beautifully appointed and very personable, attentive staff who help with everything from transportation to excursions to massages! the meals exceeded all expectations! and it’s a great location on a small, fairly private beach which makes you feel like you’re in a remote place, but still has convenient access to the main town of Abraão to grab a meal, hear live music, etc overall a wonderful experience and we will definitely go back!

the family rooms are in an older building with some quirks/wear & tear (ie. broken window screens) and only has 1 double bed so not ideal for 2 couples but definitely a good setup for families with kids!

Absolute paradise!

This place is paradise! Opening the door and wandering out onto the veranda for breakfast by the sea is amazing. In the morning there is no one else on the beach and only the few guests in the couple of others rooms so it is truly the most peaceful place on earth!
