Lovely small hotel with great pool, lovely breakfast and superb dive school. Great location

Lovely small hotel, great pool and nice breakfast. The ladies serving the breakfast were great. Brilliant location - just out of centre of town but easily to get in and nice and quiet. Also can recommend the Dive school - we booked a 1 day private boat trip, for snorkelling with family of 4 with Sabarina and Celeste and it was fantastic.

Was all pretty good. Only slight moan the lady that checked us in on day 1 was a little unhelpful - could have told us more about the hotel facilities but could have been a language restriction.

Excellent, Quiet Stay for Diving at Canto do Ile

Excellent staff, the breakfast is great and if you have the option to eat dinner (some fish), do so, as the chef is very good! If you are a diver, it is an easy stay as the dive shop is connected and is the people who run it are some of the best you will meet while in Paraty.

everything was good. offering some filtered water in your room would be a nice touch.

We would love to go back one day!!!

The hotel was beautifully decorated, the staff was very friendly and patient meeting all our needs, cleanliness was great. We were able to go diving with the diving instructor who was very accommodating and patient. The atmosphere in the hotel was tranquil and peaceful.

We would have preferred breakfast to be all laid out for us instead of having to order things we were not familiar with.

Flawless stay. Best stay we have had on booking.com. Cannot recommend this enough. We actually booked the dive lodge by accident, what a delightful surprise! I would recommend you stay and take their ‘taster diving session’. We had a trial pre trial in the pool, it was amazing! Food was freshly prepared by chefs on site, with complimentary tea & cake

The highlight of our trip to Brasil.

Canto do Ile was the highlight of our trip to Brasil. The property is absolutely beautiful, and the way it's set up brings everyone together in the dining room to make it feel like a home. Everyone who worked there treated us like friends that they have known forever -- Lisa, Sergio, Fabiano, Emilia, Daniel, Leonardo, Maruscka and Rafael were so warm and had such excellent recommendations for us. We loved our diving experience with Sergio and Emilia's cakes and cookies were incredible. The historic center is a must-see town with amazing food and views, and the short bike ride into town was a great way to see more of Paraty.

Um lugar acolhedor onde nos sentimos abraçados e em casa.

A atenção da equipe em geral nos surpreendeu pela simpatia e empatia. Um café da manhã de excelência e espaços interno e externo acolhedores.

Senti falta de TV, mesmo sabendo que era para desconectarmos. Por ser carnaval, gostaria de ter acompanhado as escolas de samba do Rio numa tela maior e não pelo celular.

Péssima experiência

Tive problemas, não foi informado claramente que não ficaria ninguém na pousada após as 17:00 h Fiquei assustado e chamei apoio do policiamento local pois o bairro fica afastado do centro. Risco do carro na rua.

A proprietária ficou aborrecida pelo fato de eu ter consultado o policial e me mandou sair da pousada. Eu não tinha para onde ir, dormi uma noite, na manhã seguinte ela pediu para eu sair, reembolsaria a diária não utilizada. Foi humilhante mas eu preferi sair. Quero meu reembolso

Conforto e requinte

A propriedade é linda e super aconchegante. Os quartos são lindos, super confortáveis, e a decoração é de extremo bom gosto. Nos sentimos muito bem acolhidos. O café da manhã é excelente e tivemos duas gratas surpresas: as bikes para pedalarmos até o centro histórico - passeio que recomendo fortemente - e o jantar intimista incrível preparado pela chef Joseane.

A equipe foi muito atenciosa. Excelente café-da-manhã. O quarto é limpo e confortável.

Não fomos avisados no check-in que precisaríamos solicitar o serviço de arrumação de quarto. A internet estava instável no quarto.

Hospede-se apenas se for fazer mergulho com eles.

Gostei do fato de ser petfriedly e de ter o rio passando ao fundo da pousada. Eles disponibilizam bicicletas para ir ao centro histórico, caso não queira ir de carro, o que dá uns 15min pedalando. O café da manhã é muito bom também, feito na hora, mediante um cardápio pré determinado.

A pousada diz que oferece "aula experimental" de mergulho incluída na diária, porém não é bem assim. Perguntei por 2x para fazer somente a aula experimental, porém dessa forma não existe, ou seja, eles querem te forçar a vender uma saída após a "aula experimental". No meu caso, minha esposa queria apenas saber como seria na piscina uma simulação de mergulho porque ela tem medo, mediante a tal "aula experimental", mas não nos foi disponibilizada apenas essa opção, somente a venda casada (piscina + mar em 2 dias). Confiram a mensagem: "Dividimos a experiência em 2 dias. No primeiro, você terá uma aula de aproximadamente 2h com uma breve explicação teórica e um mergulho na piscina, onde você vai se familiarizar com o equipamento e experimentar como é respirar embaixo d´água. No dia seguinte vamos ao mar, realizar um mergulho de 30min até 10m de profundidade. Valores e formas de pagamento: R$ 750,00 (em até 3x sem juros)" Também não gostei do fato de entrarem no nosso quarto na nossa ausência com o suposto fato de que a cachorra estava latindo (a cachorra nunca late), mas só descobrimos perguntando na recepção porque ninguém avisou nada quando chegamos. Isso porque paga-se uma taxa de R$ 275,00 para Pet na pousada. Estava esquecendo, não tem TV no quarto e a piscina não é aquecida. Enfim, existem opções melhores mais próximas ao Centro Histórico como a Pousada da Condessa e a Pousada do Corsário.

Uiterst vriendelijk personeel. Ontbijt wat fantastisch. Gewoon een hele fijne plek, mooi design, ruime kamers. Bij het riviertje achter de lodge twee ochtenden op rij een familie capibara’s en aapjes gezien. + fietsen om te lenen, super!
