Loved Parma and the accommodation was in the perfect location for accessing the centre.

Overall a good experience.

The apartment itself was clean and welcoming, the location was ok, the included parking was a great addition.

The property was on the last floor of the building, with no elevator. I had to send pictures of our IDs and had no face to face interaction with the host, though everything went fine. One of the doors of the toilet was broken, and we couldn't close it.

Great central location in Parma, nice little apartment and little touches made us feel very welcome. Would have preferred it not to be on the top floor but we were only there for one night!

5th floor and no elevator!!!!

Location is very good: no limitations to reach it by car and the free parking spot within the complex is very useful. The apartment is very nice, very well furnished, ideal for 3 persons. Two additional places refer to a "convertible couch" in the living room/kitchen. Complimentary espresso coffee machine and infusions are part of the treat.

The apartment is located at the 5th (and last) floor of the building and no elevator is available. This should be more clearly described. We had 83-year old grandmother in our group of 5, who, thanks God, made it all the way up there, but she was not prepared for that, nor were we. If I knew that I'd probably looked for another place. The place is comfortable but only up to 3 guests. The "convertible couch" in the livingroom/kitchen is a bit of a problem considering that if people sleep there you cannot watch tv or make coffee, or breakfast. Accessing tha apartment was a bit tricky (somewhat of a treasure hunt with photos and instructions sent by phone)... we never met the host. She helped us from remote though in setting the place temperature a little warmer. Check-out is somewhat early (10:00 am): we asked if we could leave the luggage in storage and the car in the parking lot until 1:00 pm but we were denied the service.

Spacious apartment near old city center

Spacious apartment, high ceiling, well equipped, good contact with owner, secure parking place for a car, vicinity to old city center, free bottles of water

lack of air conditioning, in summer is quite hot during night. Opening of windows make it noisy from the street. It was on 4th floor with no lift. It was my stayover just for a night so dragging of baggages by stairs was a bit challenging.

Extremely hot in a 5th floor without elevator

- apartment was clean; - there was a private parking available, even of a bit complicated to get the key to open the parking gates.

- we were unable to get into the building since there was nobody to open the main gate. The host was very kind BUT asked me to ring all the bells till someone opens the main gate to us. In a normal situation I wouldn’t be mad, but there was a 38 degrees summer day with my 2 young kids and my elderly mother waiting down there…. and of course, the building was almost empty and the fewer people that answered us, refused to open the gate. The host solved the problem quickly, but the first impression was not good; - the flat is located at the 5th floor without elevator (I believe that this is an important information to be shared in the apartment description); - only cold water available for showering, since the heating did not work; - not enough ventilators for all the guests, only 2 available; - refrigerator might be damaged, cause the water bottle we did put in it was barely fresh on the next day. The price we paid wasn’t high, around 120 € for a night, but in these days, even the most simple accommodation would offer a bit more comfort and amenities for the guests… little details like cold water bottles available (we found 2 half empty bottles inside) and an average room temperature… we entered into a real sauna! I strongly recommend to install a cheap portable Air Condition because the heat makes the whole stay unpleasant and sleep is just impossible. Also access to WI-FI - even to watch TV wasn’t possible since most of the foreigners guests do not speak Italian what makes all the Italian channels worthless, internet is a must have even for a simplistic place.

Posizione accettabile, dimensioni dell’appartamento buone, pulizia buona.

Stanze da letto molto rumorose perché affacciate su una strada grande e molto trafficata. Servizio scarso: per il prezzo pagato per una sola persona equiparabile a quello di un hotel con prima colazione mi è stato preparato solo una metà di un letto matrimoniale con un piumino singolo scomodo e piccolo per me che sono piuttosto alto. Appartamento tra l’altro decisamente freddo. Serratura di ingresso difficile da chiudere e aprire. Il check in è totalmente self service: i proprietari rispondono al citofono, aprono e poi bisogna prendersi le chiavi in una cassetta e fare tutto da soli. Sembrerebbe che proprio non vogliano neanche incontrarli gli ospiti, il che secondo me è contrario al senso di ospitalità che si cerca quando si opta per un appartamento anziché un hotel.

5° PIANO SENZA ASCENSORE, davvero molto scomodo. Aria condizionata con un solo split nell'ingresso che raffredda molto bene solo l'ingresso. Nelle camere fa sempre caldo. Eravamo in 5 e abbiamo trovato solo 3 capsule di caffè. In giornate molto calde come quelle in cui siamo stati purtroppo la combinazione di assenza di ascensore e aria condizionata insufficiente hanno creato molto disagio

Super Unterkunft!

Die Wohnung ist richtig schön. Unser 3 jähriges Kind hat um 22 Uhr ohne Probleme die Treppen geschafft. Abgeschlossener Parkplatz im Innenhof. Schlüsselübergabe super vorbereitet. Späte Anreise kein Problem. Sogar das Schlafsofa hatte die Gastgeberin bezogen weil wir so spät anreisten. Sie spricht deutsch. Deutsche Kinderbücher und Spiele im Regal. Kaffekapseln vorhanden, kleine Teilchen fürs Frühstück und Tee. Handtücher und Klopapier vorhanden. Super schöne Deko. WLAN hat gut funktioniert. Wir haben uns richtig wohl gefühlt.
