The location is perfect for the area, easy reach to lots of interesting places, nice and quiet and at a good price, loved the ducks, we should have asked about buying some duck eggs, the owner was very friendly and welcoming.
The dishwasher needs updating and the electric shower too.

Decent location for value, pretty close drive to a local town with grocery stores, cafes and shopping. Lovely house, with washer and dryer avaliable. Lots of room to house a family of five. The owners are living right next door and are very friendly.
We could not reach them beforehand about how to get access to the property. We ended up just driving there and ringing the bell. We were very worried be would have to find another accommodation for the first night.
There was a note on the counter in the kitchen about an electricity reading being done, but no information about that online beforehand. Also, there was no mention during check-in. So, we didn't dare to turn the heat up while there, which meant we were quite cold staying there.
We could also not get ahold of the owners before leaving. They were not answering. To get our 50euro damage deposit back. Which we didn't end up getting back. We tried contacting them through booking as well as through the Sykes cottage contact. Not good.
