Elected Not to Stay at Property

It was conveniently located on my walking vacation and the views of the mountainside were lovely.

I booked this hotel as part of a walking journey walking from guest house to guest house. I did not request early check-in because I was not sure when I would actually arrive, but figured I would wait in the bar until my room was ready at the 4:00 p.m. check-in time. When I arrived at the guest house at 2:30, the entire place was locked up and dark. There was no one there. There was a sign on the door that opening hours began at 5pm with the phone number to call. Because my luggage had been transported from my earlier hotel, I could see it inside the door but could not get to it. I called and texted the number without response. About 45 minutes later a man came from around the corner and opened the hotel and told me my room was ready. It appeared that I was the only guest. The gentleman wore no official name, tag or uniform. I elected not to stay for the evening. I had noticed over my walking days that several of the smaller guest houses were closed for the summer season as I expect they do most of their business during the winter months. Even one of my early guest houses had only had a few guests. Perhaps more guests might have arrived before the evening and the restaurant/bar staff would have shown up but I decided to head to another location for the night.

Pleasant

The room looked good and clean. It had a shower, washroombasin and toilet. Toiletpaper was provided as well as handsoap and towels. Linnen were clean and good.

The matrasses were very thin. The childsbed matrasses were thicker than the adult ones. The staff looked like they didn't want to be there. Breakfast was okay but not worth the 12,-.

An dieser Unterkunft gibt es nichts positives zu berichten, vielleicht höchstens das es tatsächlich warmes Wasser zum Duschen gab

Anstatt 1 EZ und 1 DZ bekamen wir uralte, dreckige, staubige 7er und 8er Massen/Kajüttenzimmer. Das Bettlaken wies grosse frische, nicht gewaschene Flecken auf. Unter dem Kopfkissen befand sich viel Staub. Die 10cm dicke Matratze liegt auf einem Brett das bei jeder Bewegung knirscht. Schlafen konnte man nur mit 2 Matratzen übereinander. Habe wegen den dreckigen Bettlaklen reklamiert und bekam 2 neue mit riesigen Löchern und noch grösseren Flecken darauf. Der Teppick war voller Haare, Tier oder Mensch. Der Boden übersät mit Dreck. Mittene im Zimmer hat es einen Querbalken niedriger als die Kopfhöhe. Die Frau hielt es nicht nötig bei der Ankunft Hallo zu sagen, sondern nörgelte nur das mein Vater nicht in den 2. Stock könne, da er nicht gut zu Fuss ist. Aber es seien halt keine anderen (auch meine reservierten und bezahlten Zimmer) frei. Hätte Booking nicht die Woche davor das Geld schon eingezogen, hätten wir niemals in diesem miesen Schweinestall übernachtet.

Nie wieder!!!!

Der Blick auf die Berge und die ruhige Lage. Trotz ruhiger Lage nicht weit vom Stadtzentrum entfernt.

Die Ausstattung des Zimmers war unterirdisch. Die Möbel sind alle sehr alt aber darüber würde ich noch hinweg sehen aber das Doppelstockbett für meine beiden Kinder (11, 12 Jahre alt) war viel zu kurz. Die Kinder mussten mit angewinkelten Beinen schlafen. Das Elternbett war auch eine Katastrophe. Statt eines Lattenrostes schlief man auf einer Holzplatte. Das geht gar nicht und die Nacht war dementsprechend sehr kurz und schmerzhaft. Wir haben es nur als Zwischenstop genutzt aber selbst für eine Nacht nicht zumutbar. Für den Preis eigentlich eine Frechheit.

Slapen was niet prettig

Matrassen van stapelbedden, waren net planken Mijn dochter is in de auto gaan slapen, dat was beter als slapen in een stapelbed. Sluitdop van wastafel, was kapot. Erg vervelend als je lenzen moet schoonmaken. Als je de lens per ongeluk laat vallen, spoelt ie door het putje. Eten was van matige kwaliteit. Personeel, was vriendelijk
