11 The Gables

A bright, clean, comfortable apartment, spacious and airy. Two fans helped keep us cool during a heatwave. We appreciated the generous welcome pack. The apartment is nicely decorated and furnished with lots of attractive touches. Chairs for the beach are provided. We really enjoyed our stay. There is lots to explore in Lyme.

We don't have any complaints but we did notice one of the bedside lamps was broken. The fridge seems quite old and isn't quite up to the high standard of the rest of the apartment, but not a major issue. We appreciated the parking space but, as others have said, the driveway is really narrow, with no space to turn and you have to either reverse in or out, which is very tricky. Our hire car was a Ford Puma and we just managed but anything wider would be very difficult. But on the whole it was a great stay and we would stay there again.

Everything! It was clean, bright, lovingly furnished, and very well equipped. It was in an ideal location, just yards away from the beach, shops, and bars/restaurants. We didn't want to leave.

The very narrow drive was a worry at first, but it didn't detract from how great everything else was.

It was clean & tidy & very well maintained. Everything was up together & looked new. Very nicely decorated.

It didn’t have a homely feel despite having lot of items on shelves which I regard as clutter, but I realise I am a class of one when it comes to clutter. The water was hot in the kitchen & shower, but not the bath. The heating was not working but this was fixed very quickly after I called. The parking & the drive to it are very tight. I was able to park my car all week & walk to where I was training, so I was okay. But if I was a holiday maker with children & needed to be out two or three times a day getting along the drive would be annoying.

The location is excellent, just a short walk to the beach. There is private parking which is a great benefit . The facilities are modern and you have everything you need. A lovely welcome pack with some tasty goodies.

The sofa was very uncomfortable.
