The property was really clean and homely and had everything that would be required for a comfortable, cosy stay. My 80 year old father is originally from Penrith, although he has lived away for over 50 years and so he asked me to bring him for a final visit. He has mobility issues and so stayed downstairs as he struggles with staircases but he was comfortable with access to a bathroom and the kitchen. I will definitely return with my wife and family as the property will really suit a family break, and the upstairs room where I slept was really well laid out and a suntrap with great views. We both really enjoyed the property during our stay.

We had no dislikes, and everything was perfect. Although, I would mention that the staircase to the double bed with on suite may prove an issue for anyone with mobility issues. This was noticeable in the photographs and did not cause a problem for us as we booked for the location rather than the layout, my father was born within a couple of streets from the property and so we were happy just to be there.

Liked the comfortable beds and en-suite bathroom .Liked it was near to the centre of penrith.

The heating was off and it took ages to work it out and warm up the rooms. It would be better if it was turned on for our arrival as it was very cold outside due to snow a few days before especially the basement twin room it took hours to get it to warm up. I had a family member that need a warm room due to health conditions. Stairs would be a problem for some people down to the kitchen and bedroom. Property needs some updating and better dusting in places. Also had a dirty tissue and stale garlic bread behind the sofa.

The property was bigger than expected and very comfortable and homely. We had a fabulous stay here, excellent value for money, good location and couldn’t ask for anything more. Would definitely come back.
