Would like to visit the accommodation again!

Very nice location with wonderful view to an old windmill situated in a rural area . Two horses kindly greeted us as welcoming gesture. Good accommodation to relax on the beautiful terrace.

To hire bicycles recommended. Next station is little far from the chalet.

A must to stay chalet in a dream like location

Location and environment, wonderful little cottage under a tree with horses right in front your deck

Check out too early at 10 am, but at least we could make a very late check in upon our arrival

I'm sure this place would be lovely in the spring or autumn in mild weather.

We stayed for 17 nights over Xmas and New Year for visiting nearby relatives. Good communications with owners prior to arrival. Good welcome - the owner was waiting when we arrived, (lives next door). The property was spotlessly clean. It's located in a rare and quiet rural setting, considering the location near a large city. Very comfy beds and pillows. Good shower (although there is not enough water in the electric hot water tank to have 3 warm showers in a row). Wood burning stove (you can buy wood from the owner for €10). Nespresso coffee machine. Good wi-fi. I'm sure this place would be lovely in the spring or autumn in mild weather.

Very Cold in winter - since the accommodation is a converted garage/shed there is a lack of insulation in the construction. After an evening using the very efficient wood burning stove, the temperature was 24 degC in the sitting area when we went to bed. When we got up 8 hours later it was 14 degC (and this is with the electric heater on all night with the thermostat set at 20 degC.) The outside temperature was just above freezing (normal for the time of year). Rather cramped for 4 adults. (We didn't use the kitchen for cooking). No space for luggage in the bedrooms. Persistent moldy smell in the shower room.

The rooms are a bit small but it is not an issue, there is enough space for a family of 4.

Lovely stay with excellent views

Views, easy access to Rotterdam and The Hague, lovely veranda and decor, paddle boards and access to river, well stocked kitchen for size

Flies (though measures to reduce these were in place), A long walk to bars (doable for adults) Bedroom was too warm at night

beautiful peaceful location well decorated and good facilities hob ,coffee machine and fridge in kitchen lovely canal walks or bike rides available our neighbours were 2 horses and a goat

We arrived a bit early from an overnight flight and were graciously allowed in. The beds are comfortable. We could easily cook meals at 'home' when we wanted to.

It was March and fairly cold - the place to a long time to warm up. A big fire in the wood stove would have helped. The bedrooms are very snug, but you only sleep there!

Cozy cottage in a postcard setting

Gorgeous location just outside of Rotterdam. Stunning walk in the area passing two windmills. Friendly and available hosts. Cozy cottage provides necessities for a short stay.

This place is very small which wasn't a problem for us but perhaps i should point out these few things for other travelers in case they have different needs: - Kitchenette is tiny with no work surface so cooking isn't an option but there is a gas cooktop and oven to reheat a ready meal or a pizza. - One side of the bed in smaller bedroom is next to the wall

Sehr schöne Lage

Sehr schöne, ruhige Lage. Die Veranda ist sehr schön und lädt bei gutem Wetter zum Entspannen ein. Alles ist sehr sauber, die Küche ist gut ausgestattet.

Es war als Familie zu eng. Die Betten sind schmal und nicht sehr bequem. Wenn man schlecht schläft, ist es leider nicht erholsam. Persönlich haben mich auch die vielen sehr starken Lufterfrischer gestört.

Prachtige plek net buiten Rotterdam, met de fiets in een kwartiertje in 't Centrum, super vriendelijke hosts en prachtig uitzicht op molen en de Rotte, dicht bij leuke restaurants.
