Absolutely fabulous!

The photos really do not do the cottage justice, it is like a tardis! From the outside it was tiny and I did wonder if we would all fit in the house but you get inside and it just kept going! The house is gorgeous , it’s secluded but still close to spixworth co op and a pub, the staff were so friendly and helpful getting the house set up with the maximum beds, so many bathrooms, they even left us a little selection of biscuits and coffees and teas for our arrival. There is a smart TV, plenty of space in the living room and a huge garden which we would have made use of it it wasn’t so cold! Highly recommend and will certainly return!

Parking is limited near the property especially when you have a big party with a number of cars as they had highway maintenance vans that were using the car park, the gate into the property grounds is a bit of a faff but not the end of the world

Fabulous old house full of charm, very comfortable and clean. Great facilities for Dad who has difficulty walking and only a short drive to local tourist attractions.

Welcoming Home Away from Home

The cottage was really cute and well laid out. We spent a great deal of time in the kitchen and very airy breakfast room. The location was excellent for traveling all around the area, which was what we did during our five night stay. The cottage is about 15 minutes from Norwich, which was a great day trip. While we didn’t use all the amenities on the whole property, they were made available to us. This would be a great location for a family, as well. The sitting area was grand and there were many materials for local sights. Plenty of hot water and towels. The washer and dryer were easy to use and great to have. The kitchen was well stocked with plenty of dishes and pots and pans.

The turn in to the property was difficult to spot at night. The steps from parking could use some additional lighting. The towel warmer in the bathroom was extremely hot and my husband actually got burned. This would be a real problem with children.

A beautiful place to stay, highly recommend.

This cottage has everything you could possibly need, so well equipt for my husbands disability and set in beautiful surroundings. Thank you Sheelah and Jack for the special touches that make all the difference. A beautiful place to stay and explore. We had an amazing time, didnt want to leave.

Weekend stay

Comfortable and clean Lodge, very quiet. Outdoor pool.

The lodge was a fair distance from spixworth Hall farm cottages, slightly deceiving when looking at pictures on the website. Didn't use the games room or children's play area as I couldn't find it. The lodge is in a completely separate location to the rest of the facilities/accommodation.

Large spacious cottage with amazing views. Our cottage looked out on the large pond and stables. Well off any roads so no traffic noise yet very easy access to city or coast. Bus stop is close by. Games barn with table tennis, pool and childrens toys for wet days. Lots of space to roam around the grounds. Next time we come we will try out the tennis court.
