Spacious stay which worked well for our needs.

Well equipped comfortable modern house, near good amenities and close to the city centre.

The heating wouldn’t work when we first arrived so the house was cold. The owners were quick to help us though when we called for assistance and all was resolved quickly!

Enjoyable stay in lovely town house which is well furnished and equipped.

Lovely house on a pretty residential street. The river is just at the bottom of the street and then a 10-15 minute walk to the centre. Plenty of seating, comfortable beds and smart bathroom. Small courtyard garden with seating at back

A lovely cottage near the river in easy walking distance of central York

The house is beautiful, well equipped and in a great location. I was particularly pleased to find tea, coffee and UHT milk provided in the kitchen.

There is no parking, but the host was very helpful in directing me to free parking only a few streets away.

Lovely property perfect for our needs. Cosy and comfortable style similar to our own so felt very at home. Perfect location, close to both the Uni and the town. Tea coffee and milk were much appreciated.

Lovely York property

Great location, lovely river walk into York city. Quiet residential area. House was comfortable and well equipped.

No real.parking outside the house but managed to get on unrestricted roadside round the corner which was fine.

Comfortable, clean, cosy and homely.

It’s a nice house situated in a row of terraced houses. Very clean, great beds, good sized rooms. Well equipped. Communication with host was great. It’s abit of a walk into the centre, it would depend on whether you are able to walk a short/medium distance. . Taxi service was great both there and back from the city centre. Would definitely stay again . Plus an added bonus of being able to park on the same street . Well done to the host it’s a lovely little house a real hidden gem.

Beautiful period property on a quiet street within easy reach of city centre. Highly recommended!!!

Perfectly located with 10 minute walk along the river to the city centre. Pathway well lit at night and felt very safe. House was beautifully decorated to a high standard. Beds were very comfortable with excellent bedding. Bathroom was amazing and very striking. Well appointed kitchen & comfy living room. Felt like home from home. The hosts were very quick to respond to messages and very helpful.

Overhead shower was not very powerful but hand held shower was fine.

Immaculate and well equipped house, great location for visiting York.

Lovely little house ideal for visiting York centre. Was a 20 minute walk into the centre along the main road, may have been quicker along the river but the path was flooded! Only £5 in an Uber. House was spotlessly clean, very well equipped and comfortable. Bed in the main bedroom is huge! Lovely selection of books and games too. Would definitely stay again.

The only bad thing about the stay is that the milk sachets provided were out of date.

The location was amazing, close to transport and good pubs to eat and coffee bars. The river was very close and it was a lovely walk to the city.The house was done tastefully. We loved staying there.

Wonderful house

Location, not far from the river if you want a pleasant 30 minute walk into town that way. Alternatively a taxi was £8 or a number 7 bus was just at the end of the road and £2 per person. Very well equipped kitchen

We have a similar sofa bed at home and found the comfort much increased if you use a mattress topper. Not a complaint, just a suggestion.

Great comfy and trendy

Clear instructions and easy to access the property. Welcome notes when inside. Big house and very clean and modern. Everything you need. Quaint little garden which we sat in the sun. We had a great stay and this house is gorgeous from top to bottom.

Parking was only for 1 car due to limited permits but plenty of free parking round the corner. Had to pay £5 for one permit outside the property. This isn’t a negative as parking anywhere in York is costly.

Wonderful, cosy house in a great area close to the city centre (but peaceful) and river. Perfect!

What a wonderful house! We live a couple of streets away, so we know this area very well - and it is really lovely - that's why we live here :) Our boiler at home packed up on a snowy night with temperatures plunging, so we sought refuge here, and had a lovely night. Warm, cosy, well-equipped, lots of interesting books and great pictures of, I guess, the owners' travels. Communication was great. The house is very easy to find and access, and we slept extremely well. Highly recommended.

Superb and really beautiful property. Lovely decor, comfy beds and wonderful bathroom. At the end of the road turn right and you can walk the river path into York which takes you past the castle.
