Scam , not give deposit back

Do not pay a deposit to this man; they won’t return your £300. They keep making excuses and saying you destroyed the house. I have videos of how I left the house, and he claims you soiled the sheets with oil and need new ones just to avoid returning your money. Then they claim you had visitors and they will withhold your deposit! I asked him for proof, and he ignored me and didn’t send me any proof or the money.

Great location

We stayed for close to a month and although the property is beautifully presented the furniture/beds were not comfortable. No spare sheets and no cleaning products for weekly clean.

Beautiful house in great area of Doncaster. Really nicely decorated and peaceful. Would stay here again. Great for a family or group of friends to stay together.

I stayed with my parents, they said they would have liked small waste paper bins in the bedrooms.

Would of been good to have a front door light (sensored) as most nights we come home after dark and very little lighting at the front door. Had to use light on mobile phone. No real biggy, however front door light would be more ideal.

The property is nicely furnished and comfortable

The location whilst central is also very close to the red light district and we observed the doors of parked cars being tried by opportunist thieves.

Very nice, newly decorated, well presented, clean, stylish, mid terraced house with plenty of parking in the street. Very comfortable and easy stay. Nice large main bathroom with very strong shower. We did not meet the hosts, but did not need to.

The only thing we seemed to miss was a charging socket for electric tooth brushes/razors in the bathroom. It would be good if the front garden could be restored, - we appreciate this is a new let and it may be the last thing to do. There is a step up from the kitchen to the dining room (which is not a problem at all) but I did manage to bang/wallop my right foot and large toe which remains painful - a little warning sign on the right wall, elbow height would be helpful as a reminder. No one else did this. Also the carpet grip on the step edge was loose and needs refixing. If the carpet goes down to the kitchen floor then any bangs would be cushioned!

This is a very town centre based property and it is easy access to amenities. Short walk to the local markets and well decorated.
