Horrifying

Nothing it was horrific

Where do I start?! Do not be fooled by the photos! The house is not suitable to be on here! There were bed bugs, we got bit to death! Blood and bodily fluid stains in the bedding, mould in the kitchen, filth and marks all over every wall and door, the second bathroom is in a shed outside, a door in the kitchen with holes in and a padlock down to a basement, other people’s stuff in every cupboard, around 5 different glasses (not that we would even drink out of them, the property was absolute filth! That being said we still treat the property with respect, turned all the lights and heating off when we left as requested, threw rubbish always etc. we would not stay again and would highly advise against anyone else planning to do so!

Disappointing

Close to station for return trip home

Not clean. Not in good condition. Blood stain on mattress. Not enough towels. Other people’s stuff in bathroom.

Good for a quick overnight stay

The property was fine for an overnight stay. There are plenty of beds and they are comfortable. The facilities are modern. It's very cheap and was perfect for what we required. There were good takeaways in the area.

There was no lounge area. I didn't find the dining chairs comfortable at all. There had been some drilling done in the dining room, and the dust from that was still lying on the floor. The area wasn't the best, and a dog in the area barked the entire night. You couldn't hear it when the windows were closed, though. Unfortunately, we were there during a heatwave, so closing the window meant the room was very warm and there was no air flow. There's a basement door with 6 holes in it and its padlocked closed. The down stairs toilet was in a shed outside and the sink was just attached to the wall in the garden.

The most dirty house I’ve ever been to..

The location was nice

The house was completely dirty, from top to bottom. There were spider webs in every compartment of the house. The toilets were dirty. The bed sheets were dirty and smelling disgusting, they were smelling like people that were sleeping in there before. The kitchen was very dirty. There was grease on the stove in the kitchen. The cupboards were all dirty and greasy. The dishes in the kitchen were all dirty. We had to wash them to use them. The house itself was all dirty. No one cleaned the house. It was disgusting to sleep in the house and stay in the house. Even brushing my teeth was disgusting because it was so dirty. The shower didn't have any water at all. After cleaning the bathtub, we tried to take a shower but only drops of water came out of the shower. Houses like this shouldn't be rented out.

Location is easy to find. Check-in was simple. Clean and spacious for family of 6. Very helpful host.

The outside shower/sink was a joke. Finish on some construction was dubious. Distance from town was inconvenient.
