Right on the edge of the village with stunning views over Scottish countryside. Nice and quiet. Good range of amenities eg oven, hob, microwave, toaster and air fryer. Host Cameron was excellent with his communication and even brought us a wedding anniversary gift and card!
Nothing. The only thing would be that a supermarket closer would be useful- the village store is a bit limited, but I think that is part of the charm of Tomintoul!

The cottage is a perfect escape for 1 or 2 people. The location on the edge of the village has great, uninterrupted views to the mountains. There is also a garden with table and chairs, and when I sat out to enjoy a cold beer, the silence and peacefulness were astonishing. It's a short 5 minute walk to the lively village with its shop, bars and restaurants. I rode to Tomintoul on my motorbike and the route from Cock Bridge to the Lecht and on to Tomintoul is out of this world.
