Umani Hotel - Free Beach - Free Parking

- Excellent hotel, better than in the pictures. - The breakfast was amazing, very good selection, everything was fresh and tasty. Good options for dinner as well at the hotel restaurant. There is also a nice fish restaurant 100 m form the hotel which was really good. - The beach nearby is very small, cosy and quiet, the access is done down the street and then few steps to the beach - max 5 minutes from the hotel. We really enjoyed the beach and the small bar there (also it has some food options but we did not eat there). It has no stroller of wheelchair access, though, the access is only by stairs. - The room is big and very clean, the hotel it self is really excellent, I highly recommend and for sure I will come back. - The pool is also very nice, a bit small and because the hotel is on a forest hill, it's surrounded by trees and is shady throughout the day, making it a great option on a hot afternoon. - Parking was easy to find on the street near the hotel.

Very clean, nice and cozy atmosphere and the friendliest staff I have ever seen. The stay was great and we missed nothing. The rooms overlooking the sea had extraordinary views.

The swimming pool is a bit small but there is a nice beach not far from the hotel.

Excellent location - at the beginning of Golden Sands; we appreciated that it is a bit apart from the main resort area, where are all the kitsch and crowds. It has a separate beach area (with lounges and a parasol included in the price) in a nice surrounding, next to a wood. The hotel is very clean, with a nice, comfy design. The personnel is kind, the room spacious. The parking space is around the hotel, and no parking fees are collected (there is a possibility to pay to park inside, but we didn't try it). Small convenience store and nice restaurants are found nearby. Breakfast is copious, varied, and tasty.

Paying for sea view is not really worth it, there are tall trees in front of the hotel, so you only see a patch of the sea in the distance. There is a street underneath, not really crowded, but you still hear cars early in the morning if the windows are left open. We would have appreciated more sockets in the room, in order to be able to charge more devices at once. And too many lights are interconnected, so switching on the light at the entrance turns it on also in the room. (There were also problems with the TV cable that could not get fixed during our 3-day stay, but I hope this is a one-off mishap.)

First, the team was excellent—very polite and professional, from the reception staff to the restaurant team, which made the stay feel welcoming. The hotel is a new building with a modern design, large windows, and a pleasant atmosphere, which is definitely a strong point.

I recently stayed at Umani Hotel and while there are some positive aspects, I believe there is room for improvement, especially considering the premium pricing. Unfortunately, the hotel lacks dedicated spaces for relaxation and privacy; the garden is minimal and not really a place to unwind. Although the hotel was fully booked during my stay (May 1–2), the outside terrace remained closed, which was disappointing given the season. The location is in a developing area with ongoing construction nearby, leading to considerable dust and noise. Parking is also a challenge: outside parking is on a dusty, unpaved road and very limited (about 8 spaces), while indoor parking is available only at an extra cost, despite the already high room rates. The rooms themselves are quite standard and on the smaller side. The main advantage is the sea view, though it’s partly obstructed by trees—you can see the sea but not the beach. This is nice, but not exceptional. The pool area is undersized relative to the number of guests the hotel accommodates, which made it feel overcrowded. Overall, I believe Umani Hotel is best suited for short stays (1–2 nights). I also feel that the hotel’s high rating is influenced by the limited accommodation options in Golden Sands, especially given its proximity to Varna (only 15 minutes away), where there are more alternatives. With some improvements, particularly in terms of outdoor spaces, guest facilities, and value for money, the experience could be greatly enhanced.
