Dartmoor Halfway Campsite

We loved everything about this place! The food,the staff & bell tent was fantasic!

Nothing!

Extremely clean, very good bar and outside eating areas, great play area, very professional staff, very comfortable beds , great food

We stayed in a Bell tent and the small from the toilets was horrible. The outside of the tent was quite badly marked but it was nice inside. I would prefer to pay more and have breakfast included.

What is not to like great location great staff and superb food

The 2 members of staff we saw were excellent, really friendly and helpful. The pub food, dinner and especially breakfast were amazing

We were lucky that we were the only ones staying in the bell tents but would have been horrific if both were occupied as extremely close together The road noise can't be helped but was very loud through the night The bed could do with upgrading, very creaky! The tents are right next to the toilet / amenities block, you could hear every toilet flush, hand dryer and chemical toilet disposal! The bell tent was very basic, not the 'glamping' experience we are used to. If it wasn't for the fact we needed a bed for the night to break up a very long journey we wouldn't have stayed.
