Walkers Retreat with garden and views

Great location, close to national park.

The light outside the house- it obstructs the view of the nights sky.

Stunning views, good location; comfortable well appointed accommodation.

Bed could have been more comfortable and did aggravate my husband's backache

The hosts of this delightful little apartment have genuinely thought of everything. The bed was wonderfully comfortable, with beautiful linen. The living room and kitchen had all that we needed and more (I always long to find an apron, wherever I stay - and here in a drawer I discovered a lovely thick butcher's apron: heaven). Excellent coffee, eggs, milk left for us. It was clear in every detail that there was an unusual level of care, consideration and generosity in our hosts' attitude to paying guests - even down to the encouragement to walk through their extensive garden with wide mown paths and a panoramic view over the valley. Highly recommended.

I couldn't fault it.

The quiet of Dartmoor at night and the birdsong during the day. An easy walk to cafe shop and pub. Had plenty of R&R
