About this house rental
This delightful Carmel cottage has been updated with modern amenities while retaining its original architectural integrity. The spacious sun-filled living room has a beautiful stone fireplace, vaulted ceiling, and skylight. It's the ideal space for everyone to gather and relax after a day at the beach. There is a separate inviting dining area. The charming sky-lit kitchen has been updated with new stainless steel appliances including Samsung gas range, microwave, and refrigerator. The breakfast nook has French doors leading to a secluded deck surrounded by greenery. One bedroom has a Queen bed and an en suite renovated bathroom with tiled shower. The oversized upstairs second bedroom has a king-size bed. The hall bathroom has been updated with classic Heath tile flooring and tiled combination tub/shower. The private Carmel stone patio is surrounded by flower beds. There is a single carport for covered parking, and ample additional street parking readily available. A little-known footpath, the "Jane Powers walkway", leads down to the gorgeous white sand beach. It is only a five minute walk to town, with famed shops and restaurants.

We stayed with our 9 month old for one month. The house was great and had very easy access to town. Peggy, the host, was very responsive and helpful and even had some items (pack and play, etc.) for us so we didn’t have to bring them from home. Would definitely stay here again and look forward to next time!
