Didn't have a breakfast location was great

No mobile signal

The cottage was in an ideal location for us to travel to various places and Newquay Town Centre is less than a mile away. There is a Co-op and petrol station with an ATM just up on Henver Road along with a Warren's Bakery / Cafe and a Post Office. Porth Beach is literally 150yds away just a walk around the corner. During my stay I needed assistance with a private matter and the company that deals with the cottage rental were able to help by allowing me to stay a further day to enable me to travel home after New Year's day. The cottage is tastefully decorated and despite mentions in previous reviews it didn't smell fusty.

Unfortunately for me I couldn't get a phone signal ( I'm with Vodafone) and the only way I could was to walk up to Henver Road which is on higher ground. The WiFi within the cottage did work thankfully so I was able to use WhatsApp when I found myself needing assistance related to a private matter. Cottage wise if you have small children under 10 the second bedroom is ideal but it wouldn't be suitable for anyone older and it is accessed via a sliding door within the main bedroom.

Waterwitch cottage is ideally located, just a very short walk from porth beach. Near to local amenities and a short car journey to other beaches and places of interest or also on regular bus routes. The cottage was so well equipped, there was absolutely nothing we could think of that wasn’t provided. Very nice touches like teas, coffees and biscuits on arrival. Very comfortable and value for money. This really felt like a home from home and we will definitely be looking out for availability in the future!

Cottage was lovely and had everything you’d need

No hot water - the boiler had broken, no toilet paper and half a bar of chocolate left in a drawer had to be moved to a smaller more modern apartment
