This apartment was a base for our cycling holiday. The location is ideal, you can be in the railway station and by the river’s cycling routes in 5 min. The garage parking spot and the bike storage are also very handy. The city center is only a few minutes on foot. The owners are very helpful, friendly and flexible. The communication with them was prompt and clear. The apartment is clean and functional. There are, however, two things I want to point out to future guests: First, during hot weather it gets really warm inside. We were there in September and a heat wave (28-31 C the entire week) caught us by surprise. As the apartment is on the top floor with the windows getting sun the whole day and as there is no air conditioning, the temperature inside was rather unbearable (even with all the shades down during the day). The floor fan helped a bit, but still it was very sweaty. Since the building is at the corner of a busy street, you get a lot of noise from the street when you have to keep all the windows wide open. Second, the kitchen is small, even smaller than it appears in the picture. There are a lot of appliances etc. but very little space to really prepare meals or cook (as the kitchen especially was really warm, we decided to forgo any cooking except for making breakfast). If you are travelling in colder seasons or don’t mind the heat and if you don’t plan to cook a lot, then this apartment can be wholeheartedly recommended.

We enjoyed a 4 night stay in Trier. The property is easy to find, parking is underground and our hosts made us feel welcome. The home is larger than it appears in photos, very clean, organized and had everything we needed. It was a short 5 minute walk to Porta Negra and from there all of the historic city can be visited by foot. We enjoyed walking to the Mosel and running for miles on a flat, shady path. Highly recommend a stay.

Sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Vermieter, toll ausgestattete und gut gelegene Wohnung - allerdings zum Schlafen im Wohnzimmer etwas laut von der Straße her (deshalb kleine Abzüge)

Die Ferienwohnung ist hochwertig und neu ausgestattet. Es ist alles da, was man braucht (und sogar noch mehr ;)). Sehr netter, offener Kontakt mit den Vermieter:innen der Ferienwohnung. Wir haben einige Tipps zur Gastronomie/zu Ausflugszielen erhalten. Die Innenstadt ist fußläufig gut zu erreichen; auch der Bahnhof ist nicht weit entfernt. Unsere mitgebrachten Fahrräder konnten sicher im eigenen Keller eingestellt werden.

Großartige Unterkunft für Paärchen oder kleine Familien

Tolle Wohnung. Sehr schön eingerichtet. Sauber, alle Möbel neu. 1 Schlafzimmer mit Babybett. wenn größere Kinder mitreisen, müssen diese im Wohn-/Esszimmer auf die (sehr gute) Doppel-Schlafcouch. Tiefgaragenstellplatz, Keller für Fahrräder. Fußläufig von der Innenstadt. Super nette Vermieter, die uns persönlich begrüßt haben und uns noch Tipps für den Aufenthalt gegeben haben. Wir haben es wirklich genossen und waren total begeistert! Absolut empfehlenswert.
