Great location to see Trier!

The location can't be beat! You are right at the Porta Nigra Gate and directly above the Trier Christmas Market. You are easily in walking distance from all major sights in Trier. The apartment was spacious and our family of 4 had plenty of room to spread out and play games in the kitchenette. If you do book this apartment, be aware it is on the top floor, so be ready to climb stairs with your luggage. Parking was available across the street.

The sheets on the bed were ripped and the mattress had some light stains on it. The host was easy to contact and worked with us on this issue.

The location is excellent and very central. The apartment is convenient and comfortable, and the host was communicative and helpful, and we only had one slight problem which the host resolved very quickly.

An apartment suited for a several days stay, in the best location in Trier

The location is ideal, right next to Porta Nigra. The communication with the host has been impeccable and the recommendation we got for the parking spot helped a lot. Also, the kitchen is well equipped for a longer stay.

The coffee machine needs some calibration, as the coffee was quite watery, so we chose to drink our morning coffee usually in the city.

We would not come again, definitely

Location

The bed stinks and one of the pillows has moles. The bathroom looks fancy but actually is poorly maintained and not clean. We were asked to clean the dishes by ourselves and prepare all the garbage, which for the price we paid, we believe is inappropriate. We tried to do the best we can however it was a stress to us. There is no elevator and no garage, so we had to park somewhere else and drag all our luggage, including the baby buggy all by ourselves to the second floor. We didn’t know which follower we will be into and although I asked beforehand we didn’t get a reply in time(only shortly before we checked in). We made a road trip and this was our last stop; honestly with this price in other cities we could get a much better maintained apartment with better service.

Enjoyed a nice short stay, not for tall people

Lovely place and nicely located in the walking area of the city. The essentials you need and loved the way they kept the architectural pillars. Everything you need for a short trip with 2.

Clearly mentioned! The loft is right below the roof so there are a lot of stairs! Additionally, given the heath we missed the option of opening larger windows with the lack of AC. Not a place for tall people and the fridge didn't open completely but good enough to make good use of it.

Wonderful apartment in a wonderful town. Wish we had more time there.

The apartment is clean and modern but in an old building in the heart of old town which was within walking distance from the train station and to other Historical sites. From the fourth floor window you overlook the Porta Nigra. The night we were there the center was rocking with a summer concert.

The lighting flickered occasionally.

Great location in the hearth of Trier

The location was amazing. We could see the Porta Nigra from our window. The host provided all the info that we need for an easy and smooth check-in&out.

Owner should consider having and aircon-system, the ventilation is not so good and it is a warm apartment. Also, Booking.com must review their policy of what "Parking" (as a facility) means for the users when we book a place to stay and what we expect.

Great!

Very good apartment within 7 minute walk to the hospital, the purpose of our stay. Easy access to the apartment and the area around the Black Gate. Staff was great to work with and worked with us on our unknown plans as we waited for the release from the hospital.

Only thing is the toilet seat was a little loose, easy to fix!

Exceptional

We loved the location (pedestrian zone near restaurants/shopping) and view from the room (right outside the Porta Nigra!), how well-equipped the apartment was (great shower, coffee machine, kitchen supplies, etc.), and especially the beds! My husband is very picky about beds, and he said these beds were the most comfortable he's slept in during our 2-week road trip vacation through France/Belgium/Germany.

Location is the best. Wonderful! Host is very helpful and quick response. Wifi is fast.

An unpleasant smell coming from the shower drainage needs some special clean-up. No elevator to go up to the attic floor with even asmall piece of luggage was difficult. But, for young people under 50 should be okay. Cigarette smoke odor from the other units of the building stinks the bathroom. (Host told us that they were not supposed to smoke in the building)

The contactless exchange of information, although easy at first, not really helpful in case of many questions because you don't want to bother the host with constant messages. I did not travel in corona times either so I don't understand the contactless necessity. The somewhat erratic communication as to my arrival hour (not very clear and contradictory) As I foreign tourist you don't know how to use the different electrical appliances because everything is different from your home country. Some info would be welcome even in written. No info about garbage disposal at first. The very noisy neighbours above us (between 6pm and 10pm). The lack of international TV channels. Not everyone speaks or understands german. I suppose that the accommodation is also for tourists so at least some english, dutch and french channels (neigbouring countries) would be welcome otherwise the TV is completely useless which was. The bus stop in front of the accommodation. Kitchen utensils lacking such as a can opener which is really basic. It would be good to know before hand what kitchenware or food (like salt or oil) is available on site. I was not sure if I needed to bring towels because it is an aparthotel which makes it confusing. The initial necessity to pay by credit card but this was resolved eventually.

very enjoyable. after checking in and going back out to explore we came in and felt at home.

the place had everything we needed. a nice living room and two bedrooms, perfect for travelling with my family. while very close to the street seemed, it would be loud, yet it was not. it was well decorated. I loved the posters with the motivational sayings. once I figured out the coffee machine it was great. (It was me) I traveled 8 nights with my cousin and his wife, and by far this was the nicest place as far as convenient, inside decor, cleanliness and suitable for our needs.

nothing that relates to the apartment. just the way of the world things like having to wait until day before to find out how to get key or code etc. yet when I did find out, they even sent a video, so made my major not like, about travelling and staying in apartment or places without front desk, a very pleasant experience. also, it might have been nice if there were somewhere to leave your bags before and after check in. while we only came for one night, we arrived at 130, and could not check in until 3 (check the donut place next door it is great) and also, we were not leaving until 3 next day, by bus not near the apartment. yet, I did not ask, so perhaps if I had there might have been somewhere to leave our bags for 2 hours after checking out. I say to someone as a guest, just ask, don't be like me and not ask.

They should alert the inside look of the unit we stayed. I submitted one picture to it.

Location - about 1km from main train station and with 50 meters from Ports Niaga. Easy access to the tourist information office and hop-on-off bus.

The unit we stayed was not the one shown on the web. It was a penthouse needs more detailed works on supplies. The unite was on the top level on the 5th. We are so pleased the have John to handle our luggages.

Expensive, rude staff, good location

The location is very central and in the old town.

The communication with staff was not easy. We were not given proper introduction. The messages of the responsible person were rather rude. The flat does not have any sound isolation so you hear everything happening on the street. The kitchen was not well equipped. The coffee machine did not work. The price was too high for what it is. The coach is horrible to sleep on.
