Wir haben in diesem gemütlichen, sehr gut eingerichteten Ferienhaus mitten im Wald drei wunderschöne Tage mit der Familie erleben dürfen. Unsere eintägige Radtour von Trier aus bis nach Saarburg war wundervoll und auch für uns als Familie beeindruckend... Auch der Tagesausflug nach Cochem (für mich persönlich eine "Märchen-Stadt") war wunderschön. Die Kids waren von der Fahrt mit der Sesselbahn begeistert.... Wetter hat auch mitgespielt... 😃 Vielen Dank für das nette Begrüßungspräsent... 😉 Haben wir genossen... Wir werden sicherlich noch einmal wiederkommen.

Erholsamer und gemütlicher Aufenthalt in sehr ruhiger Lage

Das Waldhaus liegt sehr ruhig und abgeschieden und lädt daher ideal zum Entspannen ein. Für Wanderer und Naturfreunde sind in der näheren Umgebung zahlreiche, ausgeschilderte Wanderwege zu finden. Wer es gern etwas "Aufregender" mag, erreicht Trier mit dem Auto in etwa 15 Minuten. Das Haus ist sowohl für Paare, als auch für Familien mit Kindern sehr zu empfehlen.

Ein langes Wochenende im Waldhaus

Ein langes Wochenende im Waldhaus

Wir haben ein paar Tage im Waldhaus verbracht. Das Haus und die Lage haben uns sehr gut gefallen. Im Haus ist alles super organisiert. WLAN funktioniert einwandfrei, der Kamin ist perfekt für kalte Tage und auch die Küche ist mit allem Nötigen ausgestattet. Die Lage, im Wald, direkt am Wanderweg und mit einer tollen Aussicht, ist wunderschön und praktisch. Leider gab es auch ein Aber. Im Dach hatten sich vermutlich Nagetiere? (später haben wir die großen Lebendfallen hinter dem Haus gesehen) eingenistet, die besonders aktiv wurden, wenn wir ins Bett gingen. Das war in der Nacht ziemlich unangenehm, wenn einen halben Meter über dem Kopf, unter der Holzverkleidung der Dachschrägen, das Gewimmel begann. Nach anderthalb Nächten haben wir deshalb unseren Schlafplatz ins Wohnzimmer verlegen müssen. Das Sofa war nicht annähernd so bequem, wie die Betten im Schlafzimmer, dafür aber leise.

Für Wanderfreunde bietet das Waldhaus in Sommerau einen tollen Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen. Der Einstieg in die Wanderroute "Traumschleife Morscheid" liegt 100 Meter vor der Haustür. Wer Ruhe und Natur sucht, ist hier richtig. Wer es kultureller mag, fährt vom Waldhaus aus 12 km bis nach Trier.

Rundum gelungener Aufenthalt! Ein wunderschönes Häuschen! Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt! Vorallem der Kamin ist im Herbst bzw. Winter genial. Die Ruhe die dort herrscht ist für uns Stadtmenschen einfach herrlich! Auch die Kommunikation mit der Vermieterin 👍🏼einfach top!

Wunderbarer Kurzurlaub

Ein sehr schönes altes Haus, aber modern, hochwertig und mit viel Geschmack eingerichtet, alles da, was man braucht, durchdacht angeordnet. Die Handhabung von Geräten, Kamin usw. präzise beschrieben, so dass man sich auf Anhieb zurechtfindet. Sehr nette Gastgeber. Die Lage ist traumhaft für alle, die ein paar Tage entspannen wollen. Das Haus liegt mitten völlig ungestört im Wald, unterhalb die Weinberge von Sommerau, traumhafte Wandermöglichkeiten gleich vor der Tür,Trier und andere Sehenswürdigkeiten nur einen Katzensprung entfernt. Wir haben es sehr genossen und können einen Aufenthalt im Waldhaus wärmstens empfehlen.
