Excellent location and a really stunning apartment. Really beautiful and comfortable inside. The secure parking is a real positive too.

Nothing, apart from having to leave

A beautiful apartment within easy walking distance of shops, restaurants and attractions in York. We were given all the information we needed to access the apartment and car park easily. A courtesy call prior to arrival and a telephone contact number in case of problems were very much appreciated. There were supplies to make hot drinks on arrival, books and magazines, small touches enhanced our stay.

The only small issue was that it wasn't clear how to dispose of rubbish for recycling correctly.

Clean, spacious, centrally located with plenty of light

Well appointed apartment, spacious and comfortable, a few minutes walk from all York has to offer, plenty of information if this was your first time in York. Kitchen more than adequate, had everything you needed.

I did ask if the property was disabled friendly and was assured it was. Our first obstacle was a step to the front door and no ramp. Getting my husband to stand then get his mobility scooter in, is very difficult and of course we had to go through this every time we came in and out. A folding ramp is such an easy solution. This is the first place we have stayed that didn’t have one. The television in the sitting room would not respond to the remote, when we opened the window in living room and a bedroom, the curtain came off the track. The shower in main bedroom could not be regulated and the water was scalding. We did call stayyork and a lovely lady came and had a look, she agreed the remote control did not work properly but if you pointed it at the pot plant it would turn the TV on, she said that she adjusted the shower and it should be ok. I am sorry to report that for our entire stay the TV and the shower never worked and all three of us had to use the one working shower in our friends bathroom, definitely not what we wanted, it did somewhat spoil what would otherwise been a perfect stay😢
