Excellent clean and comfy apartment with wonderful host.

Excellent apartment - perfectly clean, very comfortable and well equipped and well appointed. Although fairly compact, the apartment was larger than it looks from the photos and good use of space has been made. Helen, our lovely, friendly and helpful host had even provided a welcome pack of milk, bread, butter, eggs, cheese, ham, chocolates and crisps! The location was good , very near to the towns of Newcastle and Castlewellan, Tollymore Forest Park and the wondrous Mourne Mountains. We had a great week and the people of Northern Ireland are really friendly.

The only small downside is that Tollyrose apartment is next to a fairly busy, fast B Road which is a little noisy in the day, but gets very quiet at night. Other than that, everything was perfect.

Lovely, pleasant stay in a very comfortable apartment

Location very handy to Newcastle Town and tollymore forest.

Basic groceries like butter, jams, milk and maybe bread would be nice to have but not essential.

Exceptional

This apartment exceeded our expectations in every way.The photos do not do it justice!It has been finished to an exceptionally high standard.Helen and her husband make a great team with an eye for detail.Everything for our comfort was provided,and having two bathrooms ,one an ensuite ,was a big plus.It is extremely clean,comfortable and well designed,as well as thoroughly equipped.The little verandah table and chairs were sweet,and the welcome basket on arrival was wonderful.Helen is a very attentive host,with the right balance of helpfulness and kindness.Safe parking too!Highly recommend.
