About this house rental
Brecks Farm - From what used to be a working farm and livery, this much loved family property has been converted into a small development of 5 beautiful cottages, with an eye for detail that ensures your every comfort. Having previously been a joiner, Guy has put his skills to great use, including the bed heads in the master bedrooms that have been meticulously made by hand - this can be seen in so many of the finishing touches in these lovely holiday homes.
The Mill has three very comfortable bedrooms, all that can be set either as super king or twin beds, perfect if you are planning a family holiday. The cottage has been beautifully finished with your comfort in mind, a fully fitted kitchen provides everything you need, coupled with a comfortable sitting area for those nights where you just want to kick back and relax.
For the long summer evenings there is a private outside area with space to eat and a BBQ for your use. The surrounding area is beautiful and yet you are so very close to York, only minutes drive away to the city centre and yet you are settled in the beautiful Yorkshire countryside. The perfect family escape.
There is a car charging point in each of the 5 cottages at the farm, the points are a 16a designated supply accessible with a standard UK 13a three pin plug. Guest’s are more than welcome to charge there cars but we ask that they leave in the cottage a contribution towards the cost of the electric used.

Beautiful, clean, modern accommodation. Surrounded by beautiful countryside but just a short drive into York city centre, it has everything you need. Tracey and Guy are very welcoming and accommodating.

We are regular visitors to this wonderful cottage. Guy and Tracy are the perfect hosts and all the cottages are beautiful. The Mill retains a number of interesting original features, combining the history of the building with modern comfort in perfect harmony.The location is also idyllic, providing a feeling of rural tranquility yet within easy reach of amenities. We are looking forward to our next visit already!

We only booked The Mill for 3 nights but could happily have stayed longer. A lovely property - all amenities you could need. A lovely welcome pack including fresh eggs, bread, milk, apple juice plus more.
We were a group of 6 friends, so the option of twin beds was a bonus.
Lovely comfortable beds, great quality linen and towels. Everything you could possible need was there,
Great location only a couple of miles from York City Centre.
Would definitely stay there again.
