About this farm stay rental
L-Ghorfa Taz-Zebbuga farmhouse tucked away in an alley is a true hideaway in Santa Lucija , Kercem. It enjoys a very nice swimming pool. All bedrooms are ensuite and equipped with air-conditions pay per use .Fans are available free of charge.
Entrance to this farmhouse is through a wide patio leading to a big arched lounge with TV set , wireless internet and still featuring the original managers in the corners. On the same floor there is a kitchen and dining room ,a bathroom equipped with a corner jacuzzi bath giving a sense of luxury and relaxation. there is also washing machine, and two bedrooms both with shower en suite. From the ground floor to the first floor one can use either the external stairs or the inner spiral stairs.
On the first floor there are two big, nicely furnished bedrooms, both with shower en suite. The house has two sunny terraces which enjoy terrific views of the island.

We had a fantastic stay at the farmhouse, and the area was exactly what we were hoping for. A quiet location but close to all the amenities restaurants and beaches etc.Maria was wonderful host and very responsive when contacted. The maid services was excellent and the property was cleaned midstay as well as before we had arrived. The pool area is lovely with a shaded area under the olive tree.I suppose if i was to identify any areas for improvement, the oven wasn't ideal and would probably benefit from being replaced, we didn't want to eat out everyday, and struggled at times to cook nice meals, however the BBQ was excellent. I was alsonsay the sunloungers are now reaching the end of there life and could probably do with being replaced soon, however they did the job and were comfortable enough. Gozo was amazing and felt very unspoilt by tourism exactly what we hopped it would be. Thank you again to Maria, we will be back next year, hopefully

We are a family of 8 and we all really enjoyed our holiday in Gozo. The house was a good standard and was comfortable.The good:We all loved the poolAn en-suite in every bedroom was appreciatedThere is a lovely bakery and two restaurants close by, plus a butcher shop and little supermarket It’s walking distance to Victoria (approx half an hour)The house was very cleanThere was enough seating for all 8 of usSome areas for improvement:The cooker didn’t work very well. It was confusing to operate and the oven kept switching itself off The fridge had a broken shelf and the door didn’t always close properly so some food spoiled(Both should be replaced)The pillows were old and uncomfortable- need replacedWe noticed that most of the beds didn’t have mattress protectors. That’s a must when there are various people sleeping on a bedThe house is much smaller than the photos implyAll in all we had a wonderful holiday. Gozo is beautiful and the house is a nice base. A few improvements in the house would make a massive difference.

We booked for seven nights but left after one, as the house was not what we expected. Good: simple checkin process; bathrooms were relatively new. Bad: the house smelt damp and there were green damp/algae stains on internal walls; the mattresses and bedding were thin, old and uncomfortable; downstairs was dark and small. Overall we did not feel it was good value for money. Other people have enjoyed their stay here so perhaps our expectations were too high.
