Claureece Court Mgarr

Very big space, aircon worked wonderful, the kitchen was fully equipped. The place was very clean and self check-in was great for a later arrival. You need to hire a car if you want to stay, but I would recommend that to anyone going to Malta. It’s a tiny island so you can get around from the property to all places in 20 minutes. It’s situations perfectly in the middle. Mgarr was also a wonderful town, lovely restaurants and cafes.

Tricky to find parking on weekends but we always did!

Very spacious common area with dining table and cozy sofa. Clean rooms with good AC and shutters. The residential area was very quiet, there was also parking space available in front of the flat or close by, depending on the time of the day. Supermarket, butcher, brunch/coffee place and restaurants are within walking distance. In terms of beach, there are plenty great ones reachable by personal car, Uber/Bolt and bus.

Bed size is not the most optimal for tall people, but it'd do for a few nights. Cooking essentials (salt, pepper, oil etc.) were missing.

The property itself was spacious

Our stay at these apartments was very disappointing. The biggest issue was the terrible smell throughout the entire apartment. The unpleasant odour was there during our whole stay, and it was so bad that we didn’t even want to return to the apartment after spending the day outside. The apartment was dirty, the mattresses were old and heavily stained, and the bed linen was old, rough, and uncomfortable – it even irritated our skin while sleeping. One of the bedroom air conditioners leaked water continuously. We had to move the bed so that the water wouldn’t drip onto our heads while we slept, and we had to place a bucket underneath to catch the water. The constant dripping noise made it difficult to sleep and completely ruined our rest. The location was also inconvenient. The apartment is quite far from the beach and most of the main attractions. If you are not planning to rent a car, getting around is very inconvenient. Unfortunately, we cannot recommend these apartments. We expected a clean and comfortable place to stay, but because of the terrible smell, poor cleanliness, old and uncomfortable bedding, the leaking air conditioner, and the inconvenient location, our experience was extremely disappointing.
