location was perfect and it was quite. Flat clean and easy access by stairs and lift.

no outside balcony or window. There were windows but it gave access to an interior yard. The picture above shows the window that leads to the oudside of the building and once you open that window you can view the harbour. The George Flat has no outside windows that should be made clear.

Location was superb. Short walk into Valletta - but far enough that you weren't disturned by loud music from bars. Also very close to the waterfront with easy access to taxi boats to head over to Three Cities. Parking located around the apartments too. Every time we came back from a day out exploring Malta we were able to get a parking spot outside the building. (Just note that in the area, you can park for a max of 2.5 hours between 0800-1700 Monday-Friday. The apartment was basic in terms of facilities and comfort - and that suited us because we didn't intend to hang out there for long periods during the day. But if you are looking for more home comforts that is something to consider. We stayed 6 night and we were able to make use of the washing machine on the ground floor which was very helpful.

There's a lift that with a private code can stop and open in the apartment itself. We were slightly concerned at the security of this in case a cleaner or anyone should happen to walk in whilst we were potentially in a 'state of undress' heading to/from the shower. It didn't happen though and after the first day we forgot about it. There is only aircon in the berdoom which meant the kitchen / diner area was very warm (but ideal for drying clothes). As there were only two of us, it would have been handy if the sofa bed had been packed away into sofa format for somewhere comfortable to sit, rather than a massive extra double bed to give more space in the bedroom area.

The location was good, there was a view of the harbour when the cruise ships weren't in. The air-conditioning worked well except in the bathroom and second bedroom where it was non-existent. The kitchen seemed well kitted out.

No air-conditioning or black out blinds in the second bedroom. No access to the balcony shown in the photos. Not soundproof from other residents if they are noisy. Black mould in the bathroom.
