Had the best time! Cabin was the perfect location for our vacation. Very clean, had everything we needed! Will definitely book next summer!

I feel that this listing was misleading. This rental is owned by a company, not an individual. My inquiries through VRBO went unanswered. I guess they want you to call the company directly. It's obvious that there is no owner checking on this property.
Safety - After our first night, I noticed that the smoke detector was not on the wall, but sitting on top of a cabinet behind the front door. No batteries, no connection. Really concerning in such an old place, during a dry season and without working windows in the bedrooms too.
Cleanliness - renters are expected to hand wash dishes and put them away. I guess we are just trusting people to do this and not checking. I always wash any dishes before I use them at any rental anyway, but at this rental the dishes were visibly dirty.
Accuracy of listing - This listing says the cabin sleeps six. Unless you sleep three to a bed or bring your own air mattresses, that's not happening. The sleeper sofa was really old and completely dilapidated. I know they're never great, but honestly no one could ever sleep on this. Paper thin, broken springs, the works. My son ended up sleeping on the sofa cushions instead. The pictures were fairly accurate and the front seating area is pretty, but the property is right off of a busy highway. It's very noisy.
Pros- very close to Garner. Good hot water and pressure in shower. Allows pets (with a fee). Beds were ok. If this is all you need, you might be happy here
