About this cottage rental
Niki's Country Cottages - For our upcoming guests, please note, Kerrville suffered devastating flooding July 4th, rising 30+ feet in a very short period of time. Downtown KV sits a ways above the river, did not suffer damage, roads closer to the river are closed due to damage, but most of the roads/highway in/out of Kerrville are open/clear and most of the damage and debris is along the river from KV to Center Point, Hunt and Ingram. Pickled Pepper Cottage sits a ways from the Guadalupe River, thus our cottage did not suffer damage 20 minute drive to Fredericksburg, one of Texan's favorite vacation & shopping spots!
We hope you come to Kerrville, enjoy the town/activities/the wonderful resilient residents and see how quickly this town has turned around an unexpected flooding disaster.

This area of the Hill Country is known for their 279+ wineries, shops, restaurants/bars, music, dancing, unique boutiques, large ranches, German heritage with fabulous bakeries/restaurants. Enjoy Texan's History, Heritage and Hospitality..........
Driving into Kerrville will remind you of the European countryside with rooftops "peeking" out of the trees in rolling hills. Guadalupe River meanders through Kerrville and is abuzz with people swimming, kayaking, biking, walking along the river trail.
Many amenities nearby & short drives to Canyon Lake for boating, Boerne (darling town!), San Antonio is less than an hour drive. Unique towns each offering Texas world-renowned hospitality to visitors in their communities.
We maintain our home continually & each month, we schedule larger projects. This past month, we installed a new HVAC system and installed new floor tile in the master shower, We want to assure our guests are comfortable and enjoy their stay at our cottage.
