Quite place good for rest with questionable cleanless

Surrounding, spacious.

Location not suitable for exploring, dusty please, smell odd, miss communication between the stuff not giving the wright direction and info at welcome desk.

Great location

It was great staying on the Island and a bit away from the hustle and bustle in Rovinj

The customer service team was quite poor and did not really know what was going on and told us mis-information when we checked in (e.g. said that we need to pay 4 euros to refresh our beach towels...we later learned that did not apply to people staying in the suites. Also was told only 2 places for dinner but there were actually 3). Wish the staff at check in was more knowledgeable about their resort

Poor customer service. We got the most expensive suite at the hotel and did not have AC. our room was not ready at check

waiters at restaurant dvorac were amazing as well as the cleaning staff

when we got there for check in at 1pm our room was not ready. we purchased the most expensive suite the hotel offers. we waited for an hour. once we go into our room we did not have AC for 2 days! Hotel manager kept promising it will come on constantly but it did not. To make things better she offered us a dinner on the hotel. Well we paid $150 for dinner that did not happen. AC came on last day we were there and manager said she will give us 50% off the first night - it did not happen. She gave 20%. Hotel manager did not seem to care one bit. Patrick at check in was not helpful at all. i will not recommend this place to anyone as customer service from top employees is extremely poor and they lie.

enjoyable! breakfast for the All suite appts was amazing - in the old building courtyard. really special.

it was busy, but there’s enough space around the island to not feel crowded. staff were helpful.

the wifi didn’t work in our bedroom. it did work in our lounge though. I did tell reception, but nothing was done about it. the bedroom had twin beds with single duvets, which isn’t perfect!

Not what it seems

Location beautiful area

Booked a premium suite sea view but it was blocked by trees.said the suites had own pools but you had to use the hotel pool.no bar service i the all suites unit,so had to use the lobby bar we’re service was so bad we did not use.only good staff was in the church restaurant.the suite we had was totally missold.

Red Island- my favourite choice in Rovinj

As my friend from Rovinj said: Red Island is a little piece of paradise on the earth. We are here every year and every time it's funtastic time for us. Just can't wait to be back next september. Greetings, Marcin and Karina

Great Place (Sonne, Meer, Strand, exklusives Frühstück im Schlössl (Never seen before!)) Great Staff (Sehr freundlich, aufmerksam und besonders im "Schlössl" für einen Wortwitz zu haben! Great Meal (Breakfast and Candle Light Dinner in the "Schlössl; On the beach Coffee and Light Meals or Pizza, Daily offers like mussels,calamari,..) Thank you very much for this great time!! And thank you very much for the free upgrade!

Not worth the money.

Beautiful location. Great room size.

Long ferry crossing that takes approx. 30 minutes one way (+10 minutes to the car park by shuttle). Uncomfortable spring beds. Aged interiors, especially bathrooms. Below average restaurants and bars on the island. The beach does not look like advertised on the picture. Seagulls can't shut up 24 hours a day. In general, I understand why some people might like an island experience, but we realized it wasn't for us. It's a trap where they're luring you with fancy pictures and promises of "romantic" experience, while in reality just offering you poor services knowing that you cannot escape.

Hotel and its surroundings are just amazing! Hospitality is outstanding, all the employees are so nice and polite. I will definitely come back!

The only thing I didn’t like that much is a lack of restaurants. There is only one at the beach where you can order food until 17:30, otherwise you have to eat at restaurant Dvorac. For such a big hotel, there should be more variety of food bars/restaurants.

Ruhiges Inselhotel

Der problemlose Check-in am Festland, der bewachte Parkplatz, der kostenlose Shuttle mit dem Boot inkl. Gepäcktransport, das schöne Ambiente auf der Insel, die ruhige Lage im Grünen, die Größe und Ausstattung der Suite, das hervorragende Frühstück auf der Terrasse des historischen Gebäudes, die Nähe zum Strand, die Freundlichkeit des Personals (besonders eines jungen Kellners beim Frühstück), der kostenlose Shuttle in die Altstadt, die kostenlosen Liegen und Sonnenschirme am Strand und vieles mehr.

Da gab es absolut nichts.

Wir waren begeistert

wir waren positiv überrascht: Tolle Suite, schönes Bad, feine Lage, das mit der Insel hat schon Charme. Alles rundherum top organisiert: Empfang beim Dock, Parkplatz, Fähre,... alles Profis. Viele Liegen, toller Pool, feine Strände, wirklich eine gute Sache. Für 30 Euro gibt es im Hotelrestaurant Essen vom Buffet inkl. Getränke. Das ist sicher keine große Küche, aber man findet immer was und bei dem Preis kann man nicht mehr erwarten. Das Essen in der Pizzeria ist okay, aber allgemein würde ich Essen und Trinken in Rovinj empfehlen, Preis-Leistung ist da sicher besser. Das Frühstück hingegen war eine Wucht: Location und Qualität top.

Die Getränkepreise waren teilweise überzogen, ab 8 Euro für einen heimischen Weißwein finde ich drüber. Es gab keine Pommes Frites einzeln zu bestellen, nur als Beilage zum Club Sandwich. Das ist bei einem Hotel, das auch viel für Kinder bietet, etwas schikanös.

Aufgrund der Familie Hütterott ist die Rote Insel quasi eine Stück "Himmlisches Alt-Österreich"!

Das Frühstück auf der Schlossterrasse ist jedes Mal ein Traum! Das Meer in Kroatien ist generell sauber und schön, aber auf der Roten Insel sogar glasklar bis mehrere Meter zum Meeresgrund.

Erholsam Urlaub mit leckerem Essen in tollem Ambiente!

Sehr leckeres Frühstück in traumhaftem Ambiente im Schloß, das die Suiten vom Hotel getrennt waren fanden wir sehr gut, überall ausreichend Liegen auf beiden Inseln vorhanden, sehr sauber auf beiden Inseln mit tollen Laufwegen. Schiffstransfer nach Rovinj und retour war perfekt. Wir kommen wieder!

Aperol Spritz/Getränke im Hotel generell zu teuer, wird in gewöhnlichen Gläsern serviert, Getränke sind in Rovinj Stadt günstiger inkl. schönerer Gläser schmecken dadurch einfach leckerer und animieren zu einem weiteren Glas bzw. zu einer erneuten Bestellung. Kauf von Wasserflaschen auf der Insel nicht möglich, wäre ein gutes Zusatzgeschäft fürs Hotel, natürlich nur mit Pfand, damit die Insel sauber bleibt.

Wunderschöner Urlaub

Das umfangreiche Frühstück im Schloss war ein Traum mit Aussicht aufs Meer!! Die Lage des Hotels ist aussergewöhnlich, tolle Poollandschaft, das Meer war sehr sauber und klar und lud zum Schnorcheln ein. Die Betten waren sehr gemütlich. Die Boote nach Rovinj und zurück fahren stündlich bis in die Nacht.

Relax, cocoon, très agreable

Hôtel parfait pour se reposer, où la seule chose à laquelle penser dans la journée, ce sont les horaires du bateau. La mer est splendide, l’hôtel est bien organisé, le petit-déjeuner est copieux et satisfaisant. Nous n’avons pas pris d’autres repas sur l’île.

Je m’explique : l’endroit est si bien entretenu qu’à 7 h du matin, quelqu’un commence à souffler les feuilles sur les chemins de l’île. Par malchance, le passage sous notre chambre avait lieu entre 7 h et 8 h. Étant venus ici pour nous reposer — surtout le matin, après deux ans sans vraies nuits (nous avons un petit de 2 ans et demi) — c’était exactement ce qu’il ne fallait pas.
