Excellent breakfast and dinner. The half-board option is very good value for money, especially in December. The food selection, particularly at dinner, is very good. The atmosphere and accommodation are consistently good.
I have been staying at Hotel Lone for many years now, I believe since around 2014, at least once and sometimes twice a year, and I have been consistently raising the same concern, which unfortunately has not been addressed.
The issue is the SPA. The underwater massage jets in the pools do not run continuously, but are switched on only every ten minutes or so, and then operate for perhaps one or two minutes. After that, you are left sitting and waiting for them to turn back on, which makes you question the level of service in a five-star hotel. In addition, the water temperature in the indoor pool is too low. Our children have been complaining for years that the pool is simply too cold for comfortable swimming.
Altogether, this gives the impression that costs are being reduced at the expense of guests, which is not acceptable in a hotel of this category and price level. These are issues that could be easily resolved if guest feedback were taken seriously.
I sincerely hope that this will finally be addressed.

I like how the hotel fits into its surroundings, the architecture and the rooms.
The staff is very friendly and helpful.
Food is excellent, both breakfast and dinner.
The bathroom is not very practical, the floor is very slippery when it is wet and one is wearing slippers.
Also, the lighting in the bathroom is very poor, I can understand that not everyone likes it but there should be an option of strong light, for applying makeup and alike. The light on the small mirror does not really help.

The bed is supercomfortable, the breakfast was exceptional (including all the waiters who are always supernice), the position was great as well
We stayed for full two weeks and after the first days in which everything was impeccable a few thing started to be under standard. The room service was forgetting something almost every day (water or coffe or towels) probably due to the hotel being full durino our stay but it does not reflect the standard of the place. Additionally the situation at the beach was completely out of hand. Almost all sun beds were occupied by towels since very early morning with owners showing up whenever they wanted....,and no action taken by anyone. This generated several fights in the beach which have been quite bad to witness.
I Believe these defects can be sorted out easily but unfortunately have been with us during the vacation.

This is our eighth time in Lone. I guess there is no need to continue.... :) The main advantage is that the hotel does not lower its level, does not disappoint in anything!

Good location in a lovely cove surrounded by forrest. Comfortable rooms. Great breakfast. Nice beach bar.
The beach is small and overcrowded. We preferred to stay in the spa rest area after swimming. Limited dining options. Sushi restaurant service was ridiculously slow: waited over an hour for the food to be served. They also charged almost 12 € for a bottle of water (it’s 7€ at other property restaurants). Pool and beach are shared with a cheeper hotel nearby, which takes away from the high-end experience.

Nice facilities
Bad customer service. I stayed at this hotel with my dad for two nights and I was accidentally charged twice for my stay at the hotel. This was a month ago and I have emailed and message through booking.com and the hotel has claimed that there was no issue so now I’m stuck with two bills for the hotel, and when my credit card company reached out to them, they said that both charges were valid. When I reach out to the hotel they said that one charge was just to deposit and will be refunded which was never refunded.

The experience with the concierge service prior to our arrival was also very favourable. During the stay I really liked the breakfast - the additional lactose-free dishes from the Tekka restaurant. Good work! I also liked the fact that the hotel not only "tolerates" but welcomes guests travelling with dogs.

Everything about our stay was absolutely fabulous. The staff went above and beyond to ensure every request was fulfilled, especially Dragana in customer relations .

The breakfast was perfect, huge selection of everything! Lovely view, we really liked that the hotel has so much light. Also the buffet dinner was great, ravioli are the best!!
Spa area is awesome. There are about 3 different types of saunas.
We stayed out of season so the pool and saunas were almost empty and we could enjoy our time there.
Maybe during the season the sauna area is a bit too small for such big hotel but we didn’t have any problem.

Extraordinary experience. Perfect customer service. We stayed for 3 nights with a baby and got a room upgrade due to noise in our previous room (which was beautiful too). Great spa with vitality bar and relax area. Delicious breakfast. Thank you! Definitely recommended.
