Very nice location, great value and lovely place to stay.

Lovely location and views. Everything we needed for our short stay (with one child and one dog). Nice and clean, comfortable bed and good amount of bits and pieces in the kitchen to cook with etc. Homemade flapjacks were a lovely touch and I was appreciative of the milk sachets in the fridge as I had forgotten to get some on the way and could still have a nice cup of tea when we arrived! Little field over the road to take our dog out was handy and the walk down to the town was only a quick ten minutes (took us longer on the way back up with full bellies). The cleaners were really nice too when we saw them at checkout. Overall great value, will definitely be back soon!

The apartment served us really well, perfect for what we needed

It was clean and had everything we needed. The flapjacks were a kind touch - thank you. We particularly loved the sunny spot with two chairs where we could sit in the warmth and look over the gorge. We had a dog with us and there is easy access to good walks. All in all a lovely spot.

No window in the bedroom but we solved that by leaving the adjoining door to the sitting room open and that had a window 😊

Location great,can't say much more!!

The location and parking

Cleanliness. Not enough utensils in the kitchen. Bed was broken. Pillows were flat and uncomfortable .Shower needed a shower curtain to prevent water from flooding the floor. Bathmat was inadequate and very old.

Potentially excellent for a quiet spot to stay but parking a real issue for us.

Property had obviously been decorated to a very high spec at some point in the fairly recent past, and the size and layout very good. Bed was comfortable and living area spacious. Excellent views out over the valley. Quiet and peaceful location.

We particularly stipulated to the owners that we would require off road parking (due to the vehicle being packed with work related items), when we arrived the space allocated to our flat was occupied, and remained occupied (by a resident from another property down the road) for our entire stay. We learned from the neighbours that the owners were well aware that this happens as it was a regular occurance. However, not only did the owners feign surprise at the situation they also refused to speak to us directly, instead relying on a few desultory text messages. This is absolute nonsense when a cheap and easy solution by way of lockable parking bollard would instantly solve the issue. N.B. Would not recommend courtesy flapjacks as they are stored in stacked butter tubs under the stairs.

Clean, easy and beautiful apartment with great off road parking

Ironbridge is a gorgeous location. The apartment itself was more than enough with fresh linen, towels, instructions and even fresh welcome flapjacks. There was also a viewing room to look at the landscape to just chill in with a drink

A bit sparse could have made it more homely. Also the walk up and down to the village was exceptionally steep 118 uneven steps. People should have been made aware of this.

Nice place to stay for a night or two. Ironbridge is a great town to visit

Quiet and close to Ironbridge. Very spacious with a good working washer.

Going up two flights of stairs was a bit of a challenge. Narrow streets getting in but the parking is easy when you get there.

Such a cute apartment, very nicely decorated for a guest house. Always glad to have a parking space. Comfortable bed, good shower and very clean.

The roads leading up to the property are extremely steep and narrow and are two way which blow my tiny city mind! The facilities are great, no scissors though.

All about the room with a view

Location, location, location. Staying in the top floor apartment, the room with a view was just stunning 😍 Great, that the parking is available as the streets are very narrow. Overall, it was a good flat.

Bed and mattress. Unfortunately, it was very uncomfortable, turning it helped but not by much. Made me want to go home to have a proper sleep 😕 bedroom without a window. Yes, there is a door to the mini living room, so if left open, some light is coming in, but not much. No heads up about the boiler for hot water, so when one of us ran a bath, the other had a freezing cold shower. It took quite a while for the hot water to come back. Would be good, to know beforehand.

Cute but not comfortable

I liked that it was clean, I like that it was spacious. It was a cute setting. The apartment got heated very quickly. I like how there was tea and coffee available. The towels were clean. I liked that the kitchen had a few things if we needed to cook. The area is nice if you like country side views. We went to the pub and got an uber. Great that it has WiFi and a carpark.

I didn't want to complain as I would stay there again however there was a few things that needed doing. A few tips: there was no batteries in the TV remote so we couldn't watch netflix or any other apps, we looked everywhere for batteries. The bathroom is very damp, the smell is bad so we had to keep airing it. The shower was not hot at all and the plug for the bath got stuck. There no was way of getting it out, we tried to twist the handle and that was broken. There was no window in the bedroom so it got very stuffy. No light in the living room but there's a lamp. We had to move the sofa as it was blocking the heater and we didn't want to burn the sofa. The kettle needs descaling. The bed is squeaky and the pillows were uncomfortable. Needs a bin in the bedroom as we kept going to the kitchen for it. Our apartment was on the top floor, there's no lift which can't be helped. I thought if I wrote this, it will be better next time for the guests.

Great apartment, lovely views

Lovely apartment located in a converted former pub. Loved the layout of our apartment, which was on the top floor. Particularly liked the little 'chill out' area with two chairs and floor to ceiling windows.

We all know what the British summer is like, the day we arrived was one of the hot ones. Being up in the roof of the building, the apartment does get very warm, by necessity the windows are small so it was difficult to get any airflow. A fan would be a good addition I feel, certainly in the bedroom as that does not have a window.

Beautiful apartment in a lovely location.

The apartment was stunning it had everything we needed and was very well maintained.

We were in the top floor apartment which was up 2 flights of stairs which were a bit steep for my little dog so she had to be carried. No fault of Hodge Bower.

Lovely short stay in dramatic location.

Delicious little flapjack cakes left in the kitchen for our arrival, nice touch. Well equipped kitchen. Comfortable bed. We didn't meet the hosts, but online communication was excellent. We were allocated a different apartment because of a boiler problem so can't comment on the one we originally booked, but everything was fine in the one we stayed in. Rooms soon warmed up, easy to increase heat on radiators. Great for us to be able to take dog with us.

Water temperature could have been a little higher, but as we were only there two nights not a problem. We didn't notice that both windows in the bedroom were slightly open and the wind on the first night was noisy (note to selves to check in future). We met others for a meal down in the village on the first night and it was a steep walk back, not the fault of the hosts (would have been easier if we'd looked for the footpaths first in daylight!). Very noisy family below us on the second evening, again not the fault of the hosts.
