Items mentioned in the listing such as television and blow dryer were missing . Really poor customer service . Entry glass door was broken at the hotel. They asked for a deposit against TV that was non existent in the rooms. Also it was not listed that they ll need a deposit . Further they kept the deposit saying you are 5 minutes late for checkout. Looks like they are Upto conning customers and should really be banned from booking.com

Location was the only thing good, being in middle of town.

Messy uncleanliness rooms (3 bed rooms), dirty sheets, NO tv or teas or coffee as per description in all three rooms. Never stay here again as all 6 off us had flea bites.

All of it. Awful smell the moment you walk through the door. Building in disrepair was unclean and I felt so uncomfortable I didn’t want to touch anything either needs to close or needs a lot of money spending on it.

Nothing, didn’t end up staying there. Booked somewhere else when we seen the pure state of the place. 100% do not recommend.

However, there were no basic necessities provided at all. Kettle but no cups/glass, sugar or tea/coffee as usually provided in rooms. No toiletries provided not even any handwash or soap for the bathroom. No matter what price is paid, these basic things should be available. Bathroom did have some mould around the tub

Getting accused and banned for apparently smoking in the hotel room Security guard keep knocking accusing Staff not letting us finish

The location is good. But the frequency of buses is limited and in the evening there are no buses available.

The room was not provided with the basic amenities. There was no blanket available and the weather was very chilly. No water to drink in the room and no milk, tea bags and coffee sachets. But were provided up on asking (just tea bags and cup of milk but no water provided). There was no shower gel or soap to bathe. The check in was at 14:00 but there was an additional option for check-in during booking the hotel room. The lady at the reception took additional 8 pounds for the early check-in. But there was no receipt given and she took cash by saying the billing machine was out of order. On the whole, I had worst experience staying in the hotel.

Difficult to judge hotel as only taken over in past month.

room was absolutely freezing all night heater switched off every 10 minutes asked staff to come have a look they just said they can’t fix it until next week nodded smiled and walked away. the bathroom was filthy hair all over the sink and dirt. the room smelled so strongly of paint it knocked me sick. we stayed the night as had no where else to go but the second we woke we left as it was so cold and I couldn’t smell paint any longer! ☹️

Place is central to the town

The building is going through extensive renovation and unfortunately there was a mistake with our room, there was no TV but our reservation said there was. There were no more available TVs, however the security gave us there TV to use so problem solved

The gentleman on reception was very friendly and helpful and helped me to find somewhere to park my car overnight.

Where do I start?? I'm aware the accommodation was priced lower than the average price for the area so i was not expecting luxury however we walked into what was a freezing cold room(will explain later why this was), the room had a bed, wardrobe, desk and chair in it, on the desk was an electric kettle and a half eaten sandwich wrapped in tin foil!! No cups or anything to make a drink with so the kettle was already an unnecessary item and the half eaten sandwich certainly wasnt desired! There was no TV despite the fact it was in the facilities list!! So all this being said I had had an 8 hr drive in snow blizzards and was not in an emotional state to go down and argue about what was and wasnt in the room, I just wanted to sleep! To then discover a hole in the glass window right next to the bed, yes an actual hole!! Hence the sub zero temps of the room and no heater working!! The bathroom window also had a nice crack running right through it! Luckily for me my partner slept on that side of the bed and had the sub zero wind blow through on him! As I'm sure you can imagine not much sleep was had by either of us and we were booked for a 2nd night!! That 2nd night just wasnt happening, we checked out gave the key to reception and explained we would not be returning for our 2nd night. My visit was due to me having a new grandson being born in the area, this meant precious time had to be used to find alternative accommodation at last minute which also meant financially having to pay for another accommodation when this hotel had already been paid for!! Not really great considering the stress and emotion the trip already involved. I appreciate that the place is being refurbished however holes in windows, lack of facilities in rooms and the fact leftover food was left laying around does not involve the refurb going on in rest of hotel.

Nice and quiet.A good nights sleep.Plent of hot water.Good tv but the ariel connection needs sorting.Good mirrors.
