Smooth check-in process. The chocolate cake was amazing, not sure what they call it or where to get that but we could not find it anywhere later in Rome.

Small, cramped room.

Location was fine and space. We got new clean towels in the second day.

the shower was growing mould in the walls and a bad smell came from there. The cups in the corredor were dirty for the whole staying. If you don't have internet, impossible to get in contact with the people in charge. You have to call to the number in the door.

The location is definitely a big plus – about a 12-minute walk to the metro, 5 minutes to a bus stop, and around 20 minutes on foot to the Vatican, which makes getting around very easy. We also appreciated the good soundproofing and the comfortable temperature in the room, so sleeping was not an issue. The room, although in the basement, had a window, so there was some natural light. The towels were clean, and the overall cleanliness of the room and bathroom was maintained at a good level. The bathroom itself is quite spacious and comfortable to use.And, to be fair, they also had surprisingly good biscuits, which was a nice little bonus.

The biggest issue was the lack of hot water – we only had it one evening, and for the rest of the stay we had to boil water in a kettle, which wasn’t exactly ideal. There was also an occasional unpleasant smell coming from the toilet/shower. Tea was only provided on the first day and was not replenished, which felt a bit odd. Overall, while the place is not terrible, it does require a bit of patience and slightly lowered expectations.
